Parked near a Harley Davidson. Motorcycles are not rare in my neighborhood, but they're not common either.
I stepped out of my car and admired the art that is the Harley when the biker came and started his motorcycle to leave.
I do believe it was the closest I had ever been to a Harley when is was woken up.
It was like a dragon, coming alive. I could feel the rumble of its roar through the concrete. Incredible 🤩🐉💝 absolutely incredible.

1- I've recently discovered a few writers. I just read a book by Christopher Paolini. When a beautiful deluxe edition of one of his books caught my attention, I purchased because it was about Dragons. The writing was just as beautiful as the packaging. 🪄📚🐉😍👍🏼.

Curiosity got the best of me 😂. Reading all the fabulous Haiku posts, I became curious about what this wordplay called Haiku was about.
Last night I read about Haiku, and Kigo, and Kireji, also about the basic rules...an hour later I realized I had a new obsession 😂.
It's been years since I've written poetry. This seems like a fun way to re-spark my interest.

1- I usually only read at bedtime, so at an incline 😂. My favorite is sitting in the garden or inside beside seasonal decorations or a fountain.
2- I expected a Grandma-like character, and a cozy-kind of story. This is a very serious, deeply meaningful story.

Haven't been this excited about a Sherlock book (influenced) to TV adaptation since the 2016 Houdini & Doyle, which was a historical-fiction based on Doyle's relationship with Houdini and not so much about Doyle's character, Sherlock.

pickI read the bulk of this during March, which turned out to be a perfect read for Women's History Month!
While this is fantasy fiction, it draws from real-life women inequality issues across society, religious orders, and political structures.
When I first began this book, I expected a “Beauty and the Beast with gothic undertones“. This is more “medieval, cursed king finds his sorceress“.
