Well, that was a terrible conclusion to a stressful day!

I had always loved how my neighborhood was a mix of cultures and religions... beautiful.

Today, was the first time we felt in the minority...literally.

The way we were stared at with hostility. Scrutinized.

I fully expected to be asked for my ID, or to see the return of Jim Crow signs.

My mom and I are American Indigenous! Our ancestors were here before America!

It has been ruled that the power over the California National Guard will be returned to our states's Governor, Gavin Newsom!

I'm trying to understand how Little t could have issues with immigrants when he's first generation American by his mother, second by his father, and two of his three wives were man-made Americans.

How could Little t have hatred for immigrants?

If this is correct, this continues to make me wonder if he is using the immigration issue simply to take people's attention away from the gift he plans to give himself on his Birthday Jan. 14: Our America.

Again, NOT tagging everyone because this is both political and supports feminism (sorry men, I know you aren't all in agreement with what's happening). ✌️

Not only many republicans voted for Little t, there were many, many men who cast their vote simply to keep a woman from becoming president.

Men betrayed the women in their lives, which has seemingly endangered us all... girls, women, journalists, two-spirited+, Mother Earth, immigrants, etc.👇

1- Haven't preordered in years. Just tried returning to mail ordering books, but waiting for their safe delivery drove me crazy 😂. While I WAS tempted to preorder the tagged book...I'm just going back to keeping a lookout for books wherever I may find them. Do miss having a bookstore, I use to have books preordered/ordered and held for me all the time.

Did some research and had to give it a try.

Went with a 5-5-5 to tie in with my Haiku's theme. 555 for the fictional phone numbers used in movies and TV.

Parked near a Harley Davidson. Motorcycles are not rare in my neighborhood, but they're not common either.

I stepped out of my car and admired the art that is the Harley when the biker came and started his motorcycle to leave.

I do believe it was the closest I had ever been to a Harley when is was woken up.

It was like a dragon, coming alive. I could feel the rumble of its roar through the concrete. Incredible 🤩🐉💝 absolutely incredible.

Curiosity got the best of me 😂. Reading all the fabulous Haiku posts, I became curious about what this wordplay called Haiku was about.

Last night I read about Haiku, and Kigo, and Kireji, also about the basic rules...an hour later I realized I had a new obsession 😂.

It's been years since I've written poetry. This seems like a fun way to re-spark my interest.
