Yay! I love winning a goodreads book 💕
Yay! I love winning a goodreads book 💕
I finished 7 books this month and 6 of them were books from my #mtTBR for my #ReadAway24 plan. So far no new books purchased for 2024!
1. Snow day tomorrow and then lots of work ahead of our school break next week
2. Dinner with my husband to try a new to us restaurant with a lot of gluten free options
3. Vampire neglected by her family who is secretly living amongst humans as a white hat hacked and now must enter an arranged marriage with a werewolf for Reasons —— which, honestly, sign me up!

Getting a little reading in while waiting for my son and his friends who are playing a VR game.
Getting in a little reading while my husband watches football
Enid is a woman who always feels out of place. She uses True Crime podcasts and casual hookups to soothe herself. She starts to worry that someone is breaking into her apartment at the same time she begins to fall for one of her hookups. This books is at times absurd and often heartfelt. It‘s a wonderful and slightly disturbing read. #botm #ReadAway2024
A little reading break while my daughter is at swim lessons. #botm #ReadAway2024
A slight sprinkling of snow today and a new book to read inside where it‘s cozy. #botm
I love a cozy romance and this one really hit the spot. The story of Lynet a middle class bookbinder and Reggie a posh soldier invalided out from WWI working together to create magic books for the government. #mtTBR #ReadAway2024
Book 4 from my TBR!
Although these arrived in 2024, I‘m deciding they don‘t count as buying a new book this year since I paid for them in 2023. #mtTBR #ReadAway2024
A family goes on a trip to a retreat located on an island with a history of evil occurrences and then one of them is murdered! This story is full of twists and turns and I loved it! #ReadAway2024 my second book of the year!
This fits perfectly with my goal for the year! I‘m planning on trying to go for the whole year without buying a new book & just read down my TBR. Library books are ok! Thanks for organizing @DieAReader @Andrew65 @GHABI4ROSES #ReadAway2024 #mtTBR
It was so nice to get back to visit Molly and her friends at the hotel, she has such a wonderful perspective on things. Loved ythe mystery and the twists the story took to get there.
Pictured above about 50 books I own that I have never read. (Note my judgmental dog in the background) I‘ve come to the realization I own about 250 unread books (physical, ebook & audiobook) I‘m making an ambitious goal this year to not buy any new books for a full year. I‘ll make a library exception but otherwise, I‘m reading down my TBR exclusively. Let‘s see how long I last. 📚📚📚📚
I‘m not sure I‘ll finish The Mystery Guest before midnight so it might be my technical first book for tomorrow, but my first new book will be Punished for Dreaming. #lastfirst @BookNAround
I couldn‘t put this book down! It was twisty and intense. Loved it!
This was a gripping ride! A depressed reader living at an isolated cabin leaves a bad review on a terrible book and the author comes looking for her.
I loved this book! The growth of Chani & Gabe over the course of this book was lovely and heartwarming. The use of the dual timelines really added to overall progression of the story. #romantsy
I didn‘t have as much time to read this year as other years so I can‘t get to a top 23, but I do have a top 10! #top10
Getting away to somewhere warmer for my vacation! And absolutely loving this book and the humanness of the main characters Chani & Gabe. #romantsy
What a heartbreaking and inspiring book. 3 hikers disappear from the PCT over the course of a few years and the author tells the story how their families deal with the loss and connect with others who feel compelled to help in the search.
I love these cozy romances. A couple married during the war are reunited after the war and must learn how to live together.
Relishing reading a book in my backyard on this lovely fall afternoon 🍂
My plans for today. Finish the first and start the second. I‘m rereading the whole series since I haven‘t finished the last 2 and want to experience it all over again!
I‘m struggling now with juggling my work responsibilities and stresses so I‘ve been reading this book to try to get myself back on track and this quote really struck a chord with me.
Meeting friends for dinner, but running a little early. Luckily I brought a book 😉
As a huge True Crime fan, I was psyched to read this book which was written with such disdain for The Defendant. The victims and their loved ones are the most important part of the story. I love how this book highlights this while also showing all the ways the media and the investigators can let the victims down.
No reading today, but it was my birthday and I celebrated by watching one of my favorite movies with my kids and having a delicious gluten free peanutbutter chocolate cookie!
A bookstore opened in my town! Best day of 2023 hands down! A really good selection of books, diverse authors, solid sci-fi/fantasy, poetry and a lot of good romance authors mixed in with the fiction section. #shoplocal
Look what came in the mail today! 😍
Next up! (Not in the Litsy database yet apparently)
I just loved this book. Katherine Center understand marriage and the work that goes into keeping the love alive. #romancy
Waiting for my food to come out of the ovens. Acts of service are so important for me and I‘m glad to be able cook for my synagogue.
A really great mystery! I love the development of Rachel‘s character in this book and the look into influencer culture was fascinating!
What I love about KC‘s books is that her characters are so real, and so flawed but at the same time so very appealing. Sadie suffers a life changing setback and has to learn how to ask for help and live her life in an emotionally honest way. All while trying to accomplish a major life goal and falling in love with two very different men. #botm
