Memories was such a lovely collection of poems to read. Personally, I would recommend Lang Leav to people who wish to delve into poetry that‘s accessible for all. It melted my heart, and the mix of poetry and prose was a nice idea and the flow of Leav‘s work was really smooth.

I feel like I spent all of November and December trying to finish up 2016 reading challenges. And now I have my four 2017 ones all planned out. None of these are for any of them. I love reading challenges. But I needed to just get a whole bunch of books that don't get me toward any goal besides being happy. #januarytbr #somuchpoetry #plustattoos

Different from recent poetry collections.
This reads more like personal letters or a diary of heartbreak and love.
I bookmarked quite a few pages. Will read again.
I'm very excited to get another Lang Leav book.

I just hope you realize how much you mean to me. I just wish I could remind you of how beautiful you are. I‘m sorry I haven‘t told you in so long. But please don‘t think I have given up on you. I will never give up on you. My arms are wide open. There is always a place for you here.

Did I ever tell you I love Lang Leav? How about the part where whatever she writes tugs at my heart, all the time? Yes? Well, need I say more? I also love the look of this book, it reminds me of the hardbound books that women in the Victorian era would pick up and read. Talk about vintage vibes.
