pickFelt all the feels when I finally got my hands on the Collector's Edition of RWRB, and currently happy & unfettered amongst all the warm & fuzzy feels of finishing the extra chapter told from Henry's dreamy POV. Peering into the domestic life of my all-time favourite book couple was joyous, and the ending delightful, yet again. I absolutely loved experiencing the story, however short, through Henry's lyrical, sometimes melancholic prose 🩷👑.

bailedI really wanted to like this one, but Alex is such a jerk that I just couldn‘t. It made no sense to me at all how hostile he was and he‘s the sort of entitled brat child that I simply loathe. Had to bail before I threw my poor kindle.
so-soI found the ending of this really moving, but parts of this felt very odd to me like fetishisation of the monarchy at the same time as hot royal characters listing the monarchy‘s historical atrocities just made me feel like the author found royals hot but wanted to detail all the asterisks of why they weren‘t allowed to find them hot…? The plot arrived really suddenly right at the end and a lot of the British bits rung kind of oddly
I now have both catboys on me and need a telescope to read my book (it's so far away!). Ebooks really are easier when these monsters want to snug.

Okay, can I just say, I‘ve already watched this movie twice in less than 12 hours! This is my new favourite movie. I am so in love with these characters all over again. My next book is going to be a re-read of this one. Oh my god where has this movie been all my life?! I need two things from the beautiful people who created this magic: 1. the 3 hour original cut, 2. a sequel with all the same actors, obviously.
First off, how is this film adaption so freakin' perfect? It remained so incredibly true to the novel, I'm obsessed 🩷. All the feels wrapped up in an excellent cast (Henry was utter perfection, and Alex grew on me once his character softened), and it was all laughs and pride and sappy love every step of the way!! I'm not usually a fan of romantic films (books are a different matter entirely - I love them). I'm literally begging for a sequel 🩷👑.

pickWhat started off as an indulgent romantic read with a guaranteed happily ever after became something far more outrageously funny, sentimental, and surprisingly political than I ever imagined. With characters that jump off the page and light up the room and a glimpse into a somewhat nicer, more accepting world, to say I loved this book would be a massive understatement. Light and fluffy with undertones of angst, this love story is unforgettable 🩷.
