I‘m finally out of all my time consuming extracurriculars! Luckily, I‘ve still been able to read a lot. For this #marvellousmarch readathon I would like to finish my #NancyDrewBR (a few more chapters) my #HTBC the tagged. I would also like to read my #FoodandLit for March. Plus 4 books I had in February. Since I will be on Spring break on Friday. I‘m really optimistic. 🥰💛

4✨ High School Photographer Piper comes across a journal from someone that documented the faults of others. Somewhat of an elitist herself she starts to see a need for justice for a girl wronged who committed suicide right after. She gets her chance when a mysterious texter is looking for justice too. For me this was edge of my seat, cliffhangers on every chapter. Piper does have faults, and she seems to change in the middle of the book. ⬇️

4✨I remember watching a classic movie of this book a long time ago. I just could not remember the ending. A young boy and his father respect the land and the land owner that allows them to live there. One day Danny finds himself drawn to a beautiful dog. He trains him and cares for him as they navigate through the dangers that surround them. Specifically, from Old Majesty a tough bear in the area. I found out this is a series too.

Roary47 This was my #Roll100 for March. #BookSpinBingo for March, and new to my #SeriesLove list that is ever growing. 😅 1w
TheSpineView I read this series when I was young. Enjoyed it!💜🐕📖📚 1w

3✨This is the third secret project from Sanderson. Two very different individuals from different worlds need to work together to protect their two worlds. They basically share a physical body while the other is tethered to them. It‘s a very interesting story and naturally the world building was amazing, but I still get lost in the creative mastery that he always provides his reader. #SeriesLove @TheSpineView @Andrew65

4✨Another on my TBR for way too long. About a girl who dies for 13 minutes and loses her memory. There is some twisty high school drama that keeps you wondering what really is going on. There is drugs and sex with teens I‘m not comfortable with. Overall, a solid story with a great ending that blew my mind.

4✨This was one of those books that you pick just for the cover without reading what it‘s about. If I would have found out what it was about I would not have given it a chance. Whales are one of my biggest fears. They TERRIFY me! 😱 I honestly was hoping for a mermaid story. 😅 Either way this was a great story! It has summer love, loss, finding a way to move forward, friendship, and a bit of finding yourself. My only complaint is it‘s predictable.

2✨ I just could not get into this one. There was a painting that was stolen. It was made by a magical source and there is magic in this world, but it is special so not everyone has magic. One of our mains is in trouble with strong forces after losing her job from our other main. It‘s a good plot line and I should have liked this, but I just didn‘t get invested in these characters and story enough to continue the series.

4✨This book has been on my TBR forever! It is a retelling from the twelve dancing princesses. I‘m going to be honest I never heard of that German made fairy tale, but I‘ll be reading it soon. 12 princess sisters in this retelling are cursed to dance every night for the Stone King with his 12 sons. Naturally, their kingdom is under a spell where they can‘t help, and any prince that tries does! I love fairy tale retellings so this was awesome! 😍

4✨ I‘m not sure how to feel about this book because of the racial back and forth that happens in it. It‘s unfortunate that it‘s a thing. That we judge other people‘s work and ideas because of the color of their skin. Stealing is wrong no matter how it gets twisted. This book gave a different dimension on theft, and the main character who we should hate or love has layers and it‘s hard to hate her or love her because she is getting injustice too.⬇️

3✨ Finished this late last night to fit it into my February reads. I originally wanted to read this because it received the very first Newberry Award Metal in 1922. It is written as if a person is narrating this amazing story. It‘s like a conversation with the reader. It is history so some is likely perspective and it does not discuss everything. It is very dense so I suggest reading sections at a time. #roll100

3✨ This was a bit bizarre. I didn‘t realize it was set in the future at first, so the tech involved in this story confused me. It was a short story that tended to repeat itself and leave details out at other times. There maybe wasn‘t a chance for world building, but it did a great job on discussing the clues we needed for the crime. Pretty unusual just like Alice and wonderland.

5✨ This book was so good! A young teen disappears without a trace. Her family is torn apart for various reasons. What really happened is so dark and twisted it‘s hard to put down. 4✨ This book destroyed me! It is the prequel to “They Both Die At The End” where the start of the mysterious Death-Cast, who can predict people‘s deaths. The very first call went to one of the POV characters that we follow. This is so sad and so heartfelt that I honestly just could not function after I finished it. I really liked how side characters were all interconnected. Fiction aside the connection between the main POVs seems highly improbable

3✨ Clare‘s ex-husband is getting remarried to a woman that apparently made a lot of enemies. It becomes even more deadly when her look a like is shot dead. I‘m not too sure of Clare‘s love interest as this series continues, and with how happy her ex is I‘m a little sad. They are a good duo even if the marriage won‘t work. I read this for #FoodandLit January pick for Ghana 🇬🇭 I also used this for #ReadtheUSA Alabama. This story is about a daughter who is working on a neuroscience project with mice. Through the course of the story she loses people that are close to her. This is the fuel and inspiration she has to finish her studies on these mice. It is a very emotional story with a lot of downs. However, I really enjoyed the approach on some difficult topics.

5✨ I was trying to finish this before the month was over, but I was enjoying it slowly. This was a fun read of an orphaned girl who by chance warms the hearts of her adopters who wanted a boy to help them as they aged. 3✨ For me I really liked the airplane scenes. The rest of the story was good, but it seemed slow in other scenes especially the wedding and where Oliver went. I say that it went slow, but there was really not much details in both of these places. I‘m not a fan of jumping around on the timeline, and this had quite a bit of that on here. It was done better than most in giving a warning it was happening. Overall, not a bad book.

4✨ If you have read “The One and Only Ivan” this is a companion to it with the rough around the edges Bob. He was raised on the streets, so we get his backstory. We also have a natural disaster that causes some to become lost and others to be found. Written in short chapters (some only a few sentences long) with a lot of pictures. If you do the audio along with it you get to hear Danny DeVito voice Bob. It was a really fun read.

4✨ This is a NetGalley read with a publish date of March 4, 2024. Being a children‘s picture book I‘m going to review this as a parent. I like that there is diverse representation of children, adults, chores, and even the text isn‘t just in a traditional format. The story is simple for a little bit of a stronger reader, so a beginning reader will need some help. The images are cute with a lot to look at on each page, but maybe a bit too simple. ⬇️
