My #TBRtarot pick this month is the new novella in the world of Belladonna & Wisteria. Set during Christmas it‘s just a cute story where we can see what our couples have been up to since the ending of the last book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ooh my #2025readingbracket is filling up fast! My favorite this month was Shield of Sparrows and I used my last wild card spot for my second favorite this month Conform. I cannot make a decide between Onyx or Shield though. I just know one of them will be my favorite of the year!

My #TBRtarot pick this month was sooo good. A dystopian society separated by class and color and minor imperfections. A secret rebellion, forbidden love - this had it all. It felt like the Giver but worse. 🤣Can‘t believe it‘s her first novel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed this new Garber book. I usually love her stuff. This one was a story about whether folklores and magic are real as our FMC has hours to find a magical object before bad things happen. Lots of wondering who to trust and felt like a mystery adventure novel. I also really liked the ending. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hype was alll real for me. This was right up my alley- a great epic love story, magic, TONS of secrets, great world building, and quite the cliffhanger ending! I was hooked, engrossed, borderline obsessed. 🤣 Might end up being my favorite book of the year. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

#majicmonday @Eggs I live right on the Hudson River so nothing makes me happier than walking on the River pathway that leads right to my Dunkin‘ Donuts. It‘s my favorite walk that can change my mood instantly. I‘m such a water baby and have to always live by water. I‘ll tag: @CBee @TheBookHippie @Gissy

This is why she‘s one of my favs! This 4th book in the series picks up right where we left off and I was immediately drawn back into this world and these characters. Alizeh is fated to kill Cyrus after they marry and she becomes queen. I love the folklore and the deals with the devil. The ending is both wrapped up but also leaves us wanting more in the next book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great sequel! Picked up right where we left off and poor Charlie has to work for others as punishment and all she wants to do is get Vince back. Lots of mysteries to solve and problematic situations to deal with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

The Brandon Sanderson streak continues! My favorite this month was Oathbringer. Still can‘t wait to see what the rest of the year brings. #2025readingbracket

I loved this little? (Still 300 pages) novella that is next in our #CosmereBuddyRead. It‘s a story with Lopen and some new characters. There‘s a ghost ship! Need I say more? 😆⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I loved this new novella that is a prequel to Priory. This tells the story of Princess Marosa and what happens in Yscalin when the ancient dragons arrive. It sets us up right for the events in Priory. I loved being back in that world. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ok my #CosmereBuddyRead peeps- of course I couldn‘t put it down after part 4 and accidentally finished it. 😂 Buckle up. I cannot wait to discuss the ending since as usual Sanderson does not let up. So much happens in that last section. I‘m loving these Stormlight books just as much as Mistborn. Cannot get enough of Kaladin and Dalinar! ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Look this gorgeous #FallingForFallSwap I received! Thank you sooo much @TheBookDream ! These books are right up my alley and even more excited to read them knowing one was your favorite of the year! The journal and socks are awesome! Love it! 🥰

My #autumncomfortswap is amazing! Thank you @Gissy ! I‘ve been wanting to read this book for forever and the candle in the cup is genius! I‘m going to put my cozy socks on and make some delicious coffee right now! Appreciate you! 🤎🧡💛

Although not as good as her other books, I still loved this one. Her writing is always atmospheric and this one just took longer to get into to. A goddess and a mortal fall in love and I loved the connections to her other books. I‘ll still read everything she writes. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It‘s here! It‘s here! Let the waiting begin! Thank you soo much in advance @TheBookDream ! 🍂🍁🍃

I will read anything set in this world. This novella tells the story of Kitt and death and leads us right up to where we left off in the main series. If nothing else, it is getting me even more excited for the next main series book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was definitely giving atmospheric academia vibes. An architecture student wins a contest to redo the home of her favorite author and she begins working together with a literature student to uncover the truth about this mysterious author. There‘s this underlying question of if magic is real or just all in her mind. The ending was great so I will have to read the second book but I do agree this one was a little slow and dragged on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

My #2025readingbracket is filling up fast! My favorite this month was Three Shattered Souls but I‘m still loving the Powerless series so much! There are soo many new books being released these next few months so I‘m hopeful there will be plenty of five star reads ahead! Can‘t wait to see how everyone‘s brackets are progressing!

Finished this month‘s #TBRtarot right in the nick of time. This new Kuang satire? inspired by Dante‘s Inferno focuses on the perils of academia. Two students go into hell to save their professor but must go through every level. I wanted to care more about the characters but it was hard to get into. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terribly disappointed with this one. This tells Mische‘s and Asar‘s story but was long and drawn out with not a lot of action. I found it hard to get into it and to care about these characters which is odd because the 1st book I devoured and it has just been downhill from there. We are being set up for a 5th book but I‘m not sure I‘m going to do it. ⭐️⭐️

#serieslove2025 This 4th book in the series picks up 8 months after book 3, speeding up the timeline our characters have to save Princess Jaslyn from dying on her 18th birthday and being taken over by the evil far king Mordeus. Lots of searching for answers and trying to avoid processes but a nice conclusion to this saga. I wasn‘t as hooked as the other 3 but had to see how it all played out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

What a great ending? to the series! The author left it open for more books! These are always fun, funny and cute. I really enjoyed this one and seeing our band of misfits work together to try and end the curse. What a nice surprise twist at the end! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

@Gissy ! My #AutumnComfortSwap has arrived! Let the waiting begin! Was so excited to get this box from you! 🍂🍁🍃🤎🧡

This second book picked up right where we left off in the middle of the Grandest Games! Alliances are made and unmade, and some new characters revealed. A great second book with a cliffhanger so now we must wait. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The next in our #cosmerebuddyread was this collection of short stories. I loved getting some missing chunks from books we‘ve read, but I also loved meeting some new characters who I hope we will see again in the future. I also loved his post scripts explaining each story and his intros to each solar system. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You guys! There are SO many books coming out next month! I can‘t handle it! Some of my all time favorite authors. Which ones are you most excited about??

#serieslove2025 Woo what an ending. Did not see that coming. This last book in the trilogy gave me all the feels. Aeri and Mikhail are close to taking the thrones and defeating their enemies. I loved the myths of the relics and we are always wondering who to trust. I am sad to leave these characters but hopefully we‘ll have more books in this world. What a great series overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a good ending to this duology. I enjoyed this one more than the first! Rune and Gideon have to work together and trust each other but of course there are still tons of secrets and betrayals. Lots of twists and surprises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#readingbracket2025 Going with the new VE Schwab book this month as my fav! So many good new releases this summer. Also, I cannot believe it is already August.

My #autumncomfortswap is on its way! Thanks for hosting such a fun swap @thebacklistbook ! 🍃🍂🍁

I‘m enjoying this series! A witch and a witch hunter. Lots of secrets and betrayals and quite the surprise ending. Right up my alley! I‘m enjoying the plot twists and surprises! On to the next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great Sanderson book! In this one the city of Elantris has lost its magic and instead houses the afflicted. I loved the Prince Raoden storyline and was rooting for his survival. I did think part 3 was a tad rushed- it felt like trying to tie up all the loose ends too quickly. Can‘t wait for the next in our #CosmereBuddyRead ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I expected to like it more. It seemed right up my alley but it took forever for me to get vested. There is card magic (it reminded me a bit of Caravel) and Elspeth has a nightmare inside of her and she needs to team up with the royals to cure the town and certain people of dark magic. I‘m hoping book 2 is a bit more exciting. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I completely agree with everyone‘s review of this “toxic lesbian vampire” novel. It has some pacing problems and took me forever to read but I was trying to enjoy the atmospheric writing. I loved the various POVs and I‘m still thinking about the ending. It‘s my fist Schwab so I‘ll def have to check out some of her other novels and series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yay it‘s #staycationswap opening day! @dabbe Thank you sooo much! You spoiled me so much! I love the tshirt and tote! The books are perfect and I can‘t wait to devour all the treats while putting together my Globe theater! What a great trip to Elizabethan England! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 🥰🥰🥰

My #TBRtarot pick this month was a quick read and something I definitely don‘t read often- a YA bank robbery thriller? No dragons or magic? I heard Netflix is making this one a movie with Millie Bobbie Brown so of course that‘s who I pictured the whole time. A cute story about sisters who grew up with a con artist mother and those skills help them when one is taken hostage in a bank robbery. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

#serieslove2025 This was my favorite of the series so far. I can‘t resist an enemies to lovers trope. The ending gave me all the feels. Excited that there is another book coming out in Sept! Curious whose story that one will follow but excited to see what these 4 are up to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This month I managed to read the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy, 3 Camp Litsy books, the Belladonna series and STILL my favorite of the month is yet another Brandon Sanderson #CosmereBuddyRead book. I‘m obsessed. But Onyx Storm is still on its way to being my favorite of the year. If Sanderson begins to include dragons then Yarros might be in trouble. 🤣 #readingbracket2025

Another interesting #CampLitsy25 pick. I believe the author is a climate change journalist so this absolutely came across to me as a giant red flag warning. It really gets you thinking about what you would do in these circumstances. But the ending was disappointing. I can‘t wait to discuss in camp as our FMC could easily be compared to our girl from Audition! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great and interesting #CampLitsy25 pick! Can‘t wait for our discussion as I loved the 2 story lines and the story within the story. On the surface it‘s about a struggling writer and family issues but I love the deeper societal commentary. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My #CosmereBuddyRead peeps- I am literally screaming!!!! I had 7 hours on a round trip train ride for a quick DC trip so I accidentally finished this. Screaming. Just Wow. Pro tip- don‘t start part 5 until you are ready to read it in one sitting. I couldn‘t stop. I have sooo many thoughts and cannot wait for the ending discussion. I ❤️ Kaladin. That‘s it. It gets all the stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#serieslove2025 Although slower than the first book, the ending made up for it. I‘m enjoying this murder mystery fantasy- I love the setting and friendships just as much as the love story. Good thing I have the next in the series ready to go. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wow! I loved reading this ending- or beginning because there are still pages for Sam to write. 😭This was my favorite by far and I‘m so glad I finally got around to reading this trilogy. Gave me all the feels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great #camplitsy25 pick! I loved this story about found families, bravery in the face of adversity, and being your authentic self. Can‘t wait to discuss it at camp! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oooh this second book was great! You can tell we are building up to something epic. I loved the Frodo, Sam and Gollum chapters the best. Even though I know how it ends, it still feels new. Although of course I am still picturing Elijah and Viggo! 😉 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

#serieslove2025 I‘m finally getting to read this series- I am late to the party. This was a good mystery/ Gothic romance about a girl trying to solve the mystery of her aunt‘s death while saving her cousins. Very Emily Dickinson- a girl and death. I loved the setting - high society, lots of ballrooms and rules! Curious to see how the story continues in book 2! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
