Nina Olsson is an amazing Sweden chef who many years ago had a restaurant in Barcelona and wrote a great book with Sweden recipes. She won the Goumand World Cookbook Award 2023!

I'm reading Afrodite from the impressive Isabel Allende, a Chilean writer.
That book is about afrodisiac ingredients and recipes, and almost of them are notes telling her experiences, plenty of sensuality, and erotism.
One of her more important books even becomes a movie as The house of the spirits and Of love and shadows.

Great occasion to tell how amazing this book is. It have many short stories with wine as protagonist. Even the colours of text and the wonderful illustration was inspired in this drink!
My favorite one is a sy-fy relat with a surprising end!

These are the books that are often looking for recipes for #foodandlit.
But depending on the country, it is quite difficult to find food. For Egypt for example I just found one, Keufta, fish fritters.
A tradicional Egyptian recipe Keufta, a little fish and potato fritters. So easily to cook... and eat too!

This is the first book I caught this year. A collection of recipes based in fisherman dishes from Costa Brava Catalonia. It includes many stories from the people that inspired this recipes and live his whole live in that sea and the villages nearby. It sounds me a memorable book.
