On to the next festive read on my kindle 🎄 ⛄️ ❄️

Finished my first Christmas read of 2025!
Merry grew up in foster care but is now marrying a man with two children from a previous partner. (ready made family). Nearby, Emily is struggling with caring for her dad and makes the decision to put him in a care home. Whilst sorting through his things, Emily finds a photograph that changes her life immediately and that of Merry‘s too. A heartwarming, uplifting read that deals with some emotive issues.

The first of many Christmas books I have planned to read. 🎄 🎁 ⛄️

A story about 3 sisters who are witches who run a cafe and read tea leaves for the customers. The Council of Witches meet with the sisters and give them a task. The sisters feel their magic pulling them in different directions They realise they have been cursed. Should they rewrite their future but what will happen if they try to change their fate?
I was disappointed that I didn‘t enjoy the book immensely and couldn‘t engage with the writing. 3🌟

I have four days off on holiday now. Plans include wrapping Christmas presents, uni work, reading and cuddles on the sofa with my fur babies.

This has been on my kindle for a while, heard mixed reviews.

A brilliant romantsy story about twins separated at births This book sees the two queens battle for Eana one last time. Wren‘s magic has become unruly and making her ill, she must travel to the Northern Mountains in search of a cure. Rose is being haunted by her ancestor and receives a warning. Their final battle may take everything they have but what are they willing to sacrifice?
It definitely needs to be made into a movie!

I‘ve told myself not to stress out about Christmas
(I do it every year!) . As long as I I have a home, family and food then I have everything I want ❤️

There are mixed reviews about this book so going to have to make my own mind up. 📖 💭

A magical house with a secret past but now home to magical children.
Together, Arthur and Linus run an orphanage but soon hope to adopt the children. When a chance visit from an inspector puts their home and family at risk, everyone must pull together to fight this battle.
The writing is light yet full of humour. A brilliant continuation from book one covering some serious issues . A wholesome story about what is right, resistance and love.

It‘s hammering down outside and Storm Claudia is here! ☔️ 💨
So this image describes my evening!

It‘s torrential rain here so a morning at home for me. Have a good day everyone 💕

I saw this and just stopped to think how true it is 💕

Hope you all have a good weekend.💕

This has been on my TBR list for a while. I loved the first book so have high hopes for this one too.

Naomi and Luca have been pen-pals since school. They taunt each other and keep each other up to date on each others life. This continues for over ten years. One day, the letters stop from Luca. Fast forward a few years, Naomi receives a letter from Luca, he always has to have the last word. The writing was really enjoyable and I loved following their lives through banter, jokes and arguments. A great rom-com that was well balanced. 4🌟

Just got home from work, Belle steaks socks from the washing machine and Lola jumps o. all the clean dry clothes from the tumble dryer! These two ❤️🐶🐾

How will I spend Halloween? Snuggled up in bed with a new book 🎃👻🛏️

Hope you‘ve all had a good day x

Hope you are all having a good day 🍁 ##cottagecorepositivevibes

My Wednesday afternoon reading buddy - Belle
🐶 🐾 💕

I‘ve enjoyed the first two in the series so hope this one doesn‘t disappoint!

Clemmie (a insta influencer) moves to Wynbridge for a fresh start after the death of her husband. She renovates a cottage and leads a recluse lifestyle. She now wants to get back to living her life. A chance encounter with the local cafe owner changes her once quiet life. Tasked with organising the village autumn festival with help from the local vet, Ash. Can Clemmie find happiness again?
Warm and cosy vibes throughout this book 🍂 🍁

We took the girls to a pumpkin patch and got to see lots of animals too. Definitely feeling autumn vibes today 🍂🍁

Picked this up from the cosy autumn section of the library display.

Book 5 in the series. Annie is baking the cake for Jeanie and Logan‘s wedding. As the town joins together to celebrate the wedding, there is one person Annie doesn‘t to see - Mac. One of the groomsmen for Logan. The boy who broke her heart.
I love the sense of community that the author creates. It is filled with love, friendship and charming characters.
A cosy, romantic read, the pages just flew by! Can‘t wait to read book 6.

Saturday afternoon….diamond art in progress
(A highland cow)

My morning with Belle and Lola 🐶🐾❤️💕
Dog walk, autumn colours, swans and playtime.

Have to keep reminding myself of this 💕

I‘ve enjoyed all the books in the series so far, hope this was is just as good! 😊

Dev is an F1 driver who is best friends with Oakley. Oakley has a younger sister called Willow. Dev is looking for someone to manage his image online and offers the job Willow. She already knows all about him! A relationship that is strictly professional begins to have blurred lines and blazing chemistry. Can they remain friends in the glitzy world of F1? A great sports romance. Definitely going to get hold of the next book in the series. 4🌟

This 💕
Have a Good Friday everyone!
Even though I have the day off it will be spent doing the food shop, walking the dogs, dropping my eldest off at the train station and doing some uni work. Might find time to read later 😂😂

This has been on my kindle for a while. As it‘s the Singapore F1 this weekend I‘d thought I‘d give it a go!

This is the prequel to ‘We were Liars‘. It takes you back to a different summer and a different story with dark secrets. A summer of betrayal and mistakes.
The book is so well written, thought provoking and full of twists. I didn‘t like any of the characters but I desperately wanted to know what happened to them! This is a psychological story that pulls you in to the lives of the dysfunctional family of the Sinclairs. 4🌟

I follow this artist on Instagram. Her work just speaks out to me, it‘s not bold but still manages to convey gentle messages.

#publicationday
I ordered this for my birthday back in August. It‘s just arrived. Trying not to read it until December 😂

The prequel to We Were Liars.
Looking forward to this.

We have a little weirdness inside us all ❤️
