A morning at the V&A museum going round the Taylor Swift Song Book Trail. Such amazing costumes. Lunch at Zizzis then an afternoon at Sondheim Theatre watching Les Miserables - this was amazing and we both cried 😢 🎭
Today we‘re off to Hampton Court Palace 👑

pickA quick fun read that was entertaining and made me giggle. Both the MCs were likeable - a hockey player and a quiet librarian. Jed is the captain of an NHL team. Breezy drools over Jed on the tv. Everything changes when he walks in to the library Breezy works at. Immediate chemistry but they are both hiding secrets which could end their story before it begins.
An easy read with drama, mixed emotions and not too much hockey for a sport story.
Starting this one today.
It‘s my last day of my holiday, back to work tomorrow. Not looking forward to setting my alarm 😢

pickA tense, mysterious thriller that I read in two days. Six college friends, one broken down RV in the middle of nowhere and a sniper looking for the truth. The sniper knows them all and he knows who they are. A great game of cat and mouse as each member tries to work out the secret that is needed to save them. Full of tension, fast pace and giving cramped claustrophobic feelings. The characters behaviour kept me guessing throughout. 4 👍🏻

pickTwo lonely people begin writing messages on a window to one another. Lachlan is at home recovering from a serious accident and Bethan has moved into a new home with her young son. The messages to each other start off as playful but become more full of hope. They eventually meet in person and it doesn‘t go to plan.
I really liked that the story was told from two POV as you learn about the characters equally. Some great secondary characters too

pickRival archaeologists have to team up on an Aztec expedition. Dr. Socorro and Dr. Matthews first met at Grad school. They share a rocky past but try to put it to one side for the ‘dig‘. With smugglers and thieves and not knowing who to trust, they decide to keep their discoveries under wraps.
The two MCs had a lot of witty banter and chemistry. The academic rivalry had my interest too. Several secondary characters were great to read about as well.
