We are coming into my busiest time of year, so while I'll still be here commenting regularly, my posting will probably be even more haphazard than usual 😂 We've survived an amazing peach season at the orchard and are now gearing up ⬇

ElizaMarie @lil1inblue I know! I mean I love fall - it's my fav. But this summer was rainy and ugly! I didn't get nearly enough reading outside time. Also, I just hate how fast time flies lately! UGH! 1y

Chelsea.Poole Thank you! I am sorry to see summer go, but I love September! It‘s soccer season for our family, plus we have lots of apples too. And the monarchs come through our neck of the woods, which is a highlight of my year. Jealous of your peaches! 1y

TheAromaofBooks @Lcsmcat @janeycanuck @IndoorDame @Suet64 @Bookwormjillk @Chelsea.Poole - We don't get peaches here every year since they tend to freeze out about half the time, so it was pretty exciting (if somewhat overwhelming 😂) to have a bountiful crop this year. There is just nothing like tree-ripe peaches!! But they are more complicated to handle and sell than the apples because of their short shelf life, so they kind of stress me out!! 😆 1y

TheAromaofBooks @ShananigansReads - The Amelia Peabody books are such a fun combo of kind of campy but extremely well-researched. The author actually had a degree in Egyptology so all the background feels extremely authentic. But the mysteries are somewhat ridiculous and the characters great fun - lots of humor. So... realistically campy? 😂 Kind of a sweet spot for me haha 1y

TheAromaofBooks @bookandbedandtea @curiouserandcurioser - This is my second time reading through the series and I just feel like they get better and better as they go along!! Penny, a few of the books were published out of chronological order - I like reading them chronologically personally, so you may want to check your list and see what order they've listed them!! I think it's around book 10 or 11 that they get a little wonky haha 1y
