Decisions, Decisions, Decisions: Seeking God's Will | Keith Kenebrew
15 posts
We all face many choices during our lifetimes, and making conscientious decisions that reflect God's will is key to leading a productive and spiritually-fulfilling life. But how are good decisions developed and executed? In Decisions, Decisions, Decisions, author Keith Kenebrew provides a guide to seeking God's will when you are facing difficult choices. Whether your choice involves choosing a new career or determining if you are ready for marriage, Kenebrew encourages you to make Christ-like choices by asking yourself, How does Jesus Christ factor into the equation? By including quotes from Scripture, Kenebrew provides answers to common questions, such as, Can God bless this choice? He also summarizes the eight general principles he considers most important when seeking God's will. You will learn how to: - Pray constantly - Test your actions against Scripture - Seek options and guidance - Count the cost - Recognize, know, and discern the will of God - Yield to the will of God - Wait on God - Know when to act Christians at all levels of spiritual growth will find Decisions, Decisions, Decisions a stimulating and useful guide for their everyday decision-making.

Help me choose!! What should my next read be? I can't decide!! This is my current TBR shelf. (Miss Burma is the book on the far left that got cut off.) I also have You by Caroline Kepnes from the library which I haven't started yet. What's your suggestion?

BookwormAHN Circe was really good. 6mo
Redwritinghood Tough choice, but I would go with Circe as it‘s up for the Women‘s Prize. 6mo
Andrew65 All The Light ... is an excellent read. I struggled with Circe, but contrary to most people‘s thoughts. (edited) 6mo

tammysue I agree on Circe 🖤 6mo
annahenke I loved All the Light We Cannot See 6mo
TheNerdyProfessor I loved You (and you can celebrate when you're done by watching the TV show on Netflix). Also read All the Light and really enjoyed it - though it's a heavier read than some of the others on your list. 6mo
Pricel101 Whew tough choices! loved Miss Burma 🇲🇲 highly recommend!! 6mo
maleahrae Thank you for all the suggestions! I think I'm going to give Circe a try! 6mo

Help!!! #BOTM - I‘m not sure if I would like any of this months choices. None are jumping at me. I LOVE character driven books. I prefer a happy ending. My taste in books is wildly eclectic and often does not make sense to me. Any suggestions?

Rachel.Rencher I'm skipping this month 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6mo
AmyG I‘m skipping, too. I have too many books as it is. 6mo
phatsallylee I picked miracle creek but i'm not sure that will have a happy ending. 6mo

Gissy I wish this company could ship to PR!😢Miracle Creek sounds interesting and Normal People has good ratings. 6mo
hermyknee I picked Lost & Wanted which I think will be weird and mind bending and I‘ll definitely have to tackle when I‘m in the mood for that - maybe this summer. 6mo
rachaich Normal People has ace reviews. 6mo
CouronneDhiver If none are jumping out at you, maybe skip and read something from your shelves instead? No sense in choosing just to pick something 6mo
Redwritinghood You can skip and pick one up on a later month if you change your mind. 6mo
EKonrad I actually skipped this month, which is rare for me. Hoping next month will be better! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 6mo
8little_paws See and I can't pick because I want all of them! 6mo
Reviewsbylola I chose Normal People and Miracle Creek. They both have great reviews! 6mo

Mmm... to continue hour 6 of #WinterStormReadathon, should I finish one of my #currentlyreading books or dive headfirst into a new one? Decisions are hard!

Update, 10 minutes later: that awkward moment when you read the flap and suddenly realize you‘ve read the book already. Yes, folks, I read the Kubica a few weeks ago. Agh! I think it‘s time to call it a night and go to sleep!
