4.5 stars! A fast-moving psychological page-turner with surprise twists around every corner. Lies, secrets, and one family‘s hidden cover-up you‘d have to see to believe. A jaw dropping revelation at the end tied all the pieces together brilliantly! I recommend to anyone who enjoys a DARK psychological thriller with mystery that has you second guessing yourself to its very end. 🖤

4.5 ★ My first book by Laura Lippman proved to be impressive with intriguing mysteries involving two missing persons and a storyline centering on an interesting female protagonist, and a ghost. All happening during the start of the civil rights era in mid 60‘s Baltimore where racial tension and the separation of class‘s were prevalent. ❥ #netgalley #WilliamMorrow

Ask Again, Yes: A Novel | Mary Beth Keane

Pickpick

4.5 ☆ A powerful character driven story that proved to be an emotional read for me about love, friendship, family dynamics, coming of age, mental health, alcoholism, infidelity and so much more. A terrible tragedy happens changing the Gleeson/Stanhope families forever but you‘ll find when reading further how pain + resentment ultimately gives way to acceptance + forgiveness. This is one I‘ll be thinking about for quite a while. ❥

I‘ve been a fan of Belle‘s since reading The Marriage Lie then Three Days Missing both w/female driven characters. I love her writing style as you never know where she‘ll go in her stories, she loves keeping her readers in complete suspense. This is no exception! I truly enjoyed the mystery + dark thrilling twists following Beth + the other characters. Everyone lies + has secrets. Who can you trust?? Totally mind-blowing - very entertaining!!

guinsgirlreads Can‘t wait to get to this one! I enjoy her too! 2mo
