Another good book by Helen Hoang. I had a little problem with the ending but otherwise enjoyed it. I really related to the main character. This was a quick read and had just enough steamy parts without being excessive.

I agree with some of the other reviews on this. The author shows very little remorse for what she did. I would do anything for my cat but I would also try to find any legit job instead of putting all that time in for forgery. Especially since she still seemed strapped for cash. I found her hard to tolerate . Maybe the movie is better?

Leftcoastzen I haven‘t read the book , but I thought the movie was great. (edited) 4w

I liked the concept of this book and I like how it's set in Melbourne, one of my favorite cities. What I didn't like was the best friend's plot. I also find it a little unlikely that she would run into as many of her dates as she did considering how big Melbourne is now!

I thought this book was pretty interesting. It didn't have as many pictures as I thought it would, but it was still an interesting look at the history of certain celebrities and their homes. Some of them put a lot of effort into restoring old houses while others trashed their homes or died young.

This collection compiles the first 10 issues of the Avengers. It's so different from the cinematic universe and anything made in the last 20 years, but that's why I like it, it's the golden age if comics. The only downside is the Wasp is portrayed as being a little man focused.

I enjoyed the author's take on traveling and experiencing the countries you visit. While I didn't agree with everything he mentioned I do agree it can be better to go off the beaten path. This was short but intense and incredibly graphic/violent. I finished it in a day because it was so good but terrifying. An America where there is an aging population and the economy is in ruins, mass shootings have been made commonplace. Enough so that it's now the basis of a hit game show: Vigilance. Trigger warning for gun violence.
