mdm139 I just binged the tv show on Netflix 2mo
Dcueto @mdm139 did you like it?? 2mo
mdm139 @Dcueto yes I did. It has been a long time since I read the book but it seemed pretty close to the main story line 2mo
Dcueto @mdm139 watching the show now, and you were right. Pretty spot on 2w

I‘m TRYING to not DNF this book, because I love this author, but holy guacamole I‘m so annoyed with the main character. Halfway through, and I‘m HOPING it improves

kplovesbooks Everyone keeps saying that but idk, I like her! I mean...she weird as hell, but still! 😂😂 I'm 76% through...things will take a very different turn soon if you keep going. 2mo
Dcueto @kplovesbooks I‘m gonna trust you on this!! 😝😝 I guess I‘m at the point where I‘m like, I need you to make some better decisions. But let‘s see 2mo
kplovesbooks @Dcueto lol!! 🤣 Hopefully you won't hate it! 2mo
BookDragonNotWorm This is by far my least favorite of his. I had to push myself through until the ending, where it finally stopped being a struggle. 2mo

The last few times I read it, I hated it. Funny how books resonate differently at different seasons in our lives. Really enjoyed it this time

Ruthiella I‘ve only read it twice, but for sure my take on it changed from when I was in my 20s and when I was in my 50s. How I interpret Cathy and Heathcliff‘s relationship definitely changed. 3mo

It was predictable, so if you‘re looking for suspense, this may not be it. That being said, I enjoyed how some of the characters evolved.

I‘m in a serious book slump. I don‘t want anything too heavy, but all the thrillers I‘ve been picking up seem to be trite.

It was okayyyyyy; maybe I just need to switch genres for a bit. Still full off twists and turns, though. Just a bit reaching

PerksOfBeingABookworm I thought there was one too many twists at the end. It would have been more believable if he hadn‘t gone that final step. I felt the same way about Home Before Dark. Still a good book, and I‘ll still read his next book that comes out in July, but I agree that the ending here is a bit far-fetched. 9mo
