Absolutely rubbish steps week, let's hope for better next time. I did finish three books, the tagged being my fave.

On other postive notes - I swam in the english sea yesterday for the first time this year. And had a fab night out for Pride tonight. Happy Pride Everyone!

For week 2 I have spent most of the time cleaning and reorganizing. Messiness drives me nuts. I still have work to do but it is looking better.
Exercise: cleaning and walking ✔
Meditation: ✔
Books: I have almost finished Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Water and nutrition: I met my water goals on 3 days.
For next week I plan to add in some time for relaxing with my new coloring book.

[diminishing language]: I *only* made my step goal 2 days this week.

[accomplishments]: I made my step goal 2 days this week, achieved 1 hour of art, did morning yoga each morning, & worked on my meditation practice.

Tomorrow is a new day, a new week. We can do it! 🙌

julesG Affirmative language. Been working on it for years. I've managed the following "the tea stays in the mug" while carrying it from one room to the other, rather than "don't spill" ? it's definitely helping 5y

Peddler410 My policy: if I won‘t say it to my daughter I can‘t say it to myself. I only focus on the positive when talking to my daughter when things don‘t turn out the way she hoped — I get lots of 🙄 but always a smile at the end. So, I need to treat myself the same as I treat my daughter. 5y

I am so proud of my fellow #SmallSteppers in week one of #BFCr2! You guys have done great! The quote above is my positivity quote I needed to remember this week. I was out of town half of the week, and I only got 60 of my 120 minutes of cardio and 30 of my 60 minutes of stretching in. But it all adds up, right?? I also started The Summer Book by Tove Jansson, and it‘s gorgeous so far!

Let‘s keep it up in Week 2!!

My daily step counts for the week. Only met my goal 3 of the days. My cold really gave me some bad days this week, which kept me from being as successful as I wanted. And I thought I was finally over it only to wake up this morning with a migraine and awful ear pain. No infection but the doc gave me meds that should help.

Here‘s hoping for an even better next week!

Walked slowly for me & only .6 miles today- humidity got to me. But now I am on my porch cooling off and watching the rain, sun shower. Sun is in the nw sky all the while sheets of rain are falling. Couldn‘t really capture it in a photo but I tried.
Books: one paperback; one audio ( tagged book is audio)- met goal
Miles: short 2; I only walked appx 4 miles this week. Hoping for a better week starting tomorrow for walking.

The view from my walking path this week.
What I realized this week-need to adjust my goals. I forgot that it is 'weed and hoe the garden' season. So 3 of my days were spent in the garden instead of walking. 2 of the days I walked, but only accomplished 2 miles, not 8 miles. I did my stretching, and I've read 3 books this week. So I'm on track with reading goal!!

peaches10 Beautiful scenery!! The green is so vibrant. I keep telling myself I need to exercise more but find my nose in a book...hahaha 5y

#BFCr2 week 1 check in. 5/18 books completed. I think I‘m going to have to up this. Yoga 7/7 with Thursday‘s session done at the library. Cardio (treadmill) 7/7. This was a good week. Next week might be iffy. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Celebrate your accomplishments because you had a fantastic week! 🙌🏻 And if life happens next week, adapt your goals—the important thing is to keep making progress & keep celebrating that progress regardless if you do yoga 1 time next week or 7.
