Not big into Twitter, so I‘m a little bit late to the party on this book. Loving Lin-Manuel‘s morning/night pep talks! This is my favorite one so far!

I really enjoyed this book! It‘s written as an interview, which I liked. I enjoyed hearing the different characters perspectives and memories of the events in the story. Side note-makes me want to watch “Almost Famous”! #bfrc2 book 6/7.

Week 3 check-in: Almost finished with this one. 100 pages to go. Didn‘t quite meet my fitness goal; ran 6 miles this week. My schedule was off and it just didn‘t happen. Next week will be better! Did not finish any books this week, so I am still at 5/7. My reading is coming along. Thank you summer break!

wanderinglynn You may have not reached your goal, but you still had a fantastic week! 6 miles is awesome! 🙌🏻 Definitely celebrate that! It‘s good to strive for more, but take time to be proud of what you accomplished. 🎉 3d

Week 2 complete!

Met my fitness goal of running 8 miles. Added in a rooftop yoga session this morning. Also got in 10,000 steps today for #LitsyWalkAThon.

Read 5/7 books already! We‘ll see what week three has in store. Loving this challenge! #bfcr2 #newbies #dreamers

Just started this book tonight. I‘m so excited to finally read Daisy Jones!

crazyspine You're killing it. I have Daisy Jones on my shelf. Maybe I'll read that next. 1w
Econaghan @crazyspine Thanks! This challenge is very motivating. I‘ve had it for a while, but kept getting sidetracked with other novels. Read it next. 😉 I‘d love to hear your thoughts. (edited) 1w

Excellent story about tolerance as told from the perspective of Red, an oak tree with 216 rings. This may be a front runner for the first first-chapter Friday of the 2019-2020 school year.

“And real life, like a good garden, is messy.”

crazyspine Have you read One and Only Ivan? 1w
Econaghan @crazyspine I read about 1/3, but put it down. Can‘t remember why I stopped, though. Did you enjoy it? (edited) 1w

I didn‘t want this book to end! The story wasn‘t quite what I expected. I loved the main character, Eleanor!

Listened to this over the last week. I like when a book is written from multiple perspectives. Lots of plot twists!

Finished the 1/7 books for my first book and fitness challenge and met my goal of running 8 miles this week! Thanks to swim lessons for my boys and my running buddy at lessons.

I‘m half-way through this book. I will definitely be adding this to my classroom library.

How did everyone do with their goals this week? #teamnewbie #dreamers #bfc

crazyspine Sounds perfect for middle school. Way to meet your goals this first week. Keep it up! 2w

Third time is a charm! I‘ve started to read this book three times-twice I had to return it to the library. Received a copy as a Christmas present! Looking forward to actually getting to finish it in my own time.

Just finished Where the Crawdads Sing. Excellent first fiction novel by Delia Owens! I couldn‘t put it down. Kya‘s story is one of survival, of love and loss.

crazyspine Is this your copy? If so, may I borrow it? 4mo
