Nine Perfect Strangers | Liane Moriarty

#BookFitnessChallenge @wanderinglynn @crazyspine

It's been a hard week, back from vacation on Sun; book 2.25 of 6. Back to work on Mon. Got sun poisoning on my lips on vacay. Pain in such a small area but I actually felt very sick. My company was the only company in the US open on Friday, longest day ever, ugh.

Still reading my same book from Saturday. Step average around 6k goal was avg of 8k.

Good news Nine Perfect Stranger is good so far!

Hoopiefoot Ugh—Sun poisoning on your lips sounds terrible! Hope you start feeling better soon. 1w
BookBridget @hoopiefoot, thanks! I'm on the mend. 1w

Another good #BOTM pick! This book follows 2 young couples from early romance (1970's) to present day. Both husbands are cops in NYC and end up living next to each other in the burbs until a family tragedy devastates both families.

#bookfitnesschallenge2 Book#2 out of #6. My fitness goal is 8k avg steps per day, actual was 7793. Go #teamnewbie @wanderinglynn @laurar311 @crazyspine @WriterAtHeart @BookishBelle @mc916 @jmtrivera @Honeybeegirl

wanderinglynn Your crushing your book goal! 🙌🏻 3w
Birdsong28 @cathythoughts Are you signed up to Netgalley? As you can read books before they are released as that is how I read this. 😘📚📖 3w
Cathythoughts @Birdsong28 thanks , but I‘m not. Do you have to review books ? As I‘d find that too stressful- or can you just read them .... 3w
BookBridget @wanderinglynn yep, starting a new book this morning inn The beach. Headed there now, maybe I'll read it all today. 😀 3w
Birdsong28 @cathythoughts Yes you have to review books but unless I have been invited to read it by a certain time by the publisher I just do it in my own time as I am reading one at the moment that I got about 3 years ago 🤦 as long as you download it you can read it at your convenience. 😘📚📖 3w

I loved this book! Ihad no idea that it was a translation from Swedish but it was very well done! A "normal" average family has their lives change overnight when the parents get a call that their 18 year old daughter is being held as a murder suspect. #bookfitnesschallenge2 This is book#1 out of #6. Go #teamnewbie @wanderinglynn @laurar311 @crazyspine @WriterAtHeart. @BookishBelle @mc916 @jmtrivera @Honeybeegirl

So excited for my first fitness challenge!

My reading goals are six books and an average of 8000 steps a day (I'll average them each week). I work at home some some days I'm lucky to get in 2000 steps so an average is my best bet. I'm on vacation this week so that will help with the reading goal.

Good luck to everyone on their goals!
@crazyspine
@wanderinglynn @laurar311 @WriterAtHeart @jmtrivera @mc916 @Honeybeegirl @BookishBelle

Dawn_Rodriguez1970 Good luck! This is my first challenge. I also work from home which definitely makes some days tougher getting the steps in. 3w
Honeybeegirl Good luck! Even a full day of teaching (when school was in session) would leave me with about 6k so I would need to supplement with more activity! You got this!! 3w
wanderinglynn Great goals! 🙌🏻 3w

The Winter Sister was so good. I started it yesterday and finished it today.

When Slyvie was 13 her 17 year old sister went missing. Three days later she was found dead by strangulation. Slyvie's close relationship with her Mother fell apart after her sister's death. Sylvie left the area when she turned 18. Fast-forward 14 years and she's back home to tend to her dying mother. Will she find closure during the visit? #BOTM #sickday #wintermystery

I read this a few years ago but it still holds a strong impression on me. This is a true story. I rarely read non-fiction but I just adored this book.

A young white woman is raped, she identifies her rapist and he is sentenced to prison for life. He "Cotton" maintains his innocence.

Without giving too much away this book is about acknowledging that all you thought was true isn't, forgiveness, understanding and moving forward.
