I know many people don't like the lack of plot, but I ADORED this book. I was hovering on the edge of tears for much of it. The writing was stunning, heartbreaking, exquisite, lyrical...
I was torn between wanting to devour the book and savor it. This time I chose devour, but I will reread for sure so I can savor it more. The audio is read by the author and I highly recommend. However, I am going to buy the print book as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I didn't do quite as well as I wanted to with workouts this week so I will head into next week with more energy!

Here are my goals. During this round I will be on vacay for one of the weeks and will have my 7 year old niece for another week so I am thinking of that with my goals. I still want 20 books, but with workouts I'm going to do a total rather than weekly. So I will go with 24 workouts total and add 12 days helping on the farm.

I'm about 1/3 done. So far it is interesting to see the back story of the houses and who people are named after, but it reads like a history book and thus goes through like 20 years in a chapter. I'm rereading the Song of Ice and Fire right now so the switch from character POV to history book is odd for me. Also, I'm hoping to see what WINTER is! It gets hinted at, but we never actually see it!
#BFC Week 4 photo challenge. It was hard to pick a favorite read from this challenge. I have a hard time choosing favorites of anything! I finally narrowed it down to two books. It is rare that I like the first book in a series the best, but I think The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms was my favorite though I loved the whole trilogy. The Sun Does Shine was just such a great book - tragic and inspiring.

This week was not great for my goals because I am on vacation, but I knew that would probably be the case. But I am having tons of fun so I'm not worried 😁 I decided to add a pic of me visiting Meow Wolf in Santa Fe since that's what I was doing instead of working out yesterday.

#nonfiction2019 something with survival. I HATED this book when I had to read it as a freshman in HS, but I decided to give it another go now that I'm a grown up 😂 I actually really enjoyed it! I thought it was funny and interesting - two things I did NOT feel when I was 13.
