Finally really giving this a go. Started to read this a few times before but never managed to get that far, I was always put off my the sheer size of how long the series is, but this time feels like the right time to read it. And I‘m getting farther in than I have in previous attempts. So this is promising.

No spoilers..... but so many goosebumps!
I'm really pleased with the direction they've taken in the second season. Even the changes from the books maintain enough of the spirit of things and high points of the plot lines, IMO. I'm excited to see where they go from here!
There‘s so many! I‘m a huge re-reader, but there‘s a few that I have read over and over again. Some are:

Given how Wheel of Time heavy the second half of my year was, I almost forgot how many great books I read during the first half. I had quite a run of 5⭐ reads, from Man Without Qualities to The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne to Masters of Atlantis to We to Stoner. Hard to pick a best overall. Here's hoping next year is just as good!

Littens!!! The first teaser trailer dropped and it definitely looks interesting. Loved the first five books in this series and then felt Jordan got too enamored of his world, so much so that even while it was fun to read it must be acknowledged there was little forward momentum in the story. All that being said, I‘m very excited to see how it is adapted for tv.

I finally (!!!) finished my mammoth reading project, The Wheel of Time. Why mammoth project? I first started reading the books ~15 years ago, stopped after book 6, picked up the next book years later, stopped another 6 books later. Was frustrated because I lost the threads of a lot of subplots. Found the ebook collection and started reading in April 2018. Finished yesterday 😁 (FYI I also read around 40 other books during that time)

Lan has been cast. I'm happy with the choice. They just need to “roughen him up“ a bit, but I'm sure make-up and wardrobe has already thought of that ;-)
These are the new covers I mentioned @DaveGreen7777 Books 1-3 pub 10/29 & books 4-6 pub 12/31. They haven't released the designs for the rest of the series, but they have said that the entire series should be pub by summer 2020. Personally I love these designs & I hope they stick with a similar choice for the rest of the series.

Confession - I‘ve not done any physical reading in way to long. So in an effort to fix this massive problem, I‘m re-reading #TheWheelOfTime from start to finish. Why choose something so big to get back into it. Well:
1. It‘s awesome.
2. The size of it adds a lot of pressure to get through the chapters.
