In my opinion if the wonder of life is gone, just take a look at a good book and you shall find it once more.

I enjoyed this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I didn‘t really appreciate the build up of a relationship only to go nowhere with it but I‘m okay with it. Wayne and Wax‘s wacky sibling like friendship is wonderful and I love Marasil. She‘s pretty awesome and I‘m looking forward to getting to know Steris more in the coming books.

This was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for meself. I would have liked it more if God wasn‘t made out to be not real... I also would have liked it more if their spanking was that. Spanks. NOT FULL ON BEATING!! *ahem* I didn‘t like the dad or the step mom and I didn‘t even like the old woman!! *rolls eyes* the lil sis was cute and the brother close to the MCs age was good. MC deserves more but I am not continuing on with the series. Liked the “open” ending.

This was such a fun and quick read 🤗💖🙈! I really needed one of those...
Chise was an adorable protagonist and Elias is kinda cinnamon rolly 😂. Surprisingly! I loved their interactions and how Chise is just like: meh. Better than slavery tbh. Solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“DISAPPOINTED!” *ahem* okay so here‘s the thing. I am not in the best headspace right now... i didn‘t enjoy this book. I enjoyed bits. BITS. Like maybe 50 pages out of nearly 700+ ... sigh. I really wanted to love this one. But for right now, I don‘t.
⭐️⭐️. I am sure that others will enjoy it and even I might enjoy it later on in life. It had great potential But I‘m just not in the right zone for it.

Okay first things first this book had a plot twist I did NOT see coming.
Secondly: I really struggled through this due to their real parents not knowing how to parent. Strive through this but and you‘ll get to a “WHAT THE HECK” moment that might be worth it all.
Thirdly: I wish they would have told us that everyone sans 1 is black. Cause I didn‘t imagine them that way and now it‘s hard to 😓. DESCRIPTIONS ARE IMPORTANT. *sighs* ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved Rosi.

TiffanyMichele But my faves are Bobo and the Missionary. I‘m kinda on the fence with everyone else. 1w

This was a ⭐️⭐️ for me. It was well written I suppose but I didn‘t appreciate the crass language and some of the inaccuracies. I read this in like 20 minutes so a really quick read of you wanna give it a whirl! Just be warned for strong language.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Charles and Candances friendship was wonderful and the mystery and the escape was blood pumping!! Definitely would reread and own this one. Also: have I found a new favorite author?? 😱 Anne Perry handles Victorian manners so well and adds soooo much sass and I love it!

So here‘s the thing. This book is great at showing not telling you about depression and anxiety. It‘s great at showing struggles with speech and relationships. And for that I loved this book. I loved that it had a good ending. But I don‘t think a young teen should read this. I don‘t think someone who fights with mental illness should read this for it is triggering as all get out. I didn‘t like the cussing and the agenda but overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️.

TiffanyMichele I do think that this book can help people understand depression so well!! Because it‘s in the first POV we see Eliza‘s parents being “stupid” because that‘s how Eliza sees them. I think maybe reading this WITH your parent/child is a great thing because you both get to see a side of mental illness(I know it can help to see it. You realize it‘s a real thing and you aren‘t crazy) but you also get to censor the book in the places it needs it. 4w

I was left disappointed with this one. It was an okay book and it did conclude the plot in a neat bow but it just felt cheap. ⭐️⭐️
You may love it though. But for me, it‘s a no.

This was an excellent and fast read. I went in with no expectations other than romance and that was a good choice! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because there were a few parts I got lost in but otherwise I throughly enjoyed this one. (Also there‘s something in the book that we the audience are never told and that frustrated me) I loved seeing an age gapped romance that was semi realistic 😍.

Okay so this could have been so good. Like so good. But the Mom was neglectful and I disliked her greatly. Uber bad parenting if you can even call it that. I did like learning how Chicken reacted to the world and I loved Cat‘s love for her family. I loved the grandparents but the Mom is a jerk. Cat should never have had the weight of the world on her shoulders and ugh. Just ugh. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I will forever be in love with this story. This and Heidi and Pollyanna hold such special places in my heart and I love it.
I loved seeing Mary and Colin grow and change. Become healthy and develop friendships with Ben and Dickon. I loved the robins pov and I loved the health and vitality. I loved that the Magic is God and I love that confession and outlook are explored in such an innocent and adorable way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I think that this book was overhyped and it made me not enjoy it as much as I wish i could have. I was waiting for a copy of this for MONTHS and when I finally got it last week... like I read it in one day but mostly because I knew that if I put it down I wouldn‘t want to finish it. Ever.

I liked many parts of this book but it just fell flat in most of the parts. A good ⭐️⭐️⭐️. But not as good as the first.
I may like it more later on. But I didn‘t really enjoy the Ella like character. Just felt like a Mary Sue almost. Anywho: it was an okay book and I liked seeing Burndee and Colin‘s friendship blossom.

Okay. This book was marvelous. The ending was amazing and just what I needed. It did get a bit angsty in 3/4 section but it was so good! Like 6-7 POVs by the end of the book. Two iffy scenes that didn‘t go anywhere near smut. It was a solid four star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I will say this. It was not my favorite Henderson book.
I expected suspense and didn‘t really get it? Like. Nope. There are a few chapters of suspense but that‘s like it.
I loved seeing Bryce‘s prayer log and it was so nice seeing Ann and Paul again through a POV. I would have loved to get deeper into Bryce‘s family and the emotions and interactions but it wasn‘t in the cards. Anywho: it was a meh book. Solid and a romantic one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just couldn‘t with this one, guys. It made a big deal about a subject I‘m not too fond of and the pacing was so. Slooww.
I simultaneously enjoyed the descriptions and almost fell asleep/overall generally annoyed by the long windedness. I stopped 1/2 through and idk. I‘d rather read a book I will actually enjoy instead of just painfully reading this one and it throwing me off my reading game. 🧐

TiffanyMichele Also Horowitz didn‘t make me care about annnnyyyyy of the characters at all. When our MCS are talking it almost feels like more descriptions... I was kinda waiting for Horowitz and Hawthorne to kick a puppy or something. Ugh. 4mo

So excited to see where the first book takes me 💫. —although I have been spoiled a lil bit in regards to the ending, I am actually a little grateful for that. Helps me prepare myself mentally for death or the like and I end up enjoying the story more. IE Star Wars Rogue One. I absolutely loved that movie because I knew they were all going to die and I prepared myself! Win win!—
