Clare-Dragonfly At the beginning when one of the moms expressed concern about May overexerting herself I was like oh, she‘s definitely pregnant and got REALLY mad at Archer. But then at the end of the chapter it turns out he had no idea, but she used it to get rid of Ellen! Clever May, self-sacrificing Ellen. 2d

dabbe I think I'm the only one here who wishes/ed (I've read it before) that Ellen and Archer would work out. That would mean them both bucking their society for the love they feel for one another. Which is pretty much what her being pregnant has done to him. 🤔 2d

AllDebooks This one hit me hardest. I thought the pace was goid and added to the tension. My heart broke for Cujo. I was incensed at Tad's parents for not being more supportive. Both of them had the heebie jeebies around the cupboard and noticed the awful smell. There is no rational explanation, but I would not be putting my child in that room. 5d

Those stays are tied so tightly around them they can't be and get what they really want. What a frustrating time period. 6d

KAO This is also my first time to read the book, and I‘ve never seen the movie. I honestly feel sorry for May, Archer, and Ellen. They all are just so very stifled at the least (or downright trapped at the most) by the society and customs of that era. I guess that‘s the point of it all. #heavysigh 6d
