Set in England,three woman in there late sixties early seventies all in different life situations decide to take a trip to Italy in a camper to find long lost relatives of of one of the the woman.it‘s a fun, adventurous trip meeting many different people and having wonderful experiences along the way with a dash of drama! Great fun

What a fun book filled with friendship, adventure & encouragement keep loving life & doing new things into the golden years! The characters really come to life as do the cities and countries through which the travel. I loved escaping with these three ladies.

This book was so heartwarming! I laughed, I cried, and I cheered these three adventurous 70year old ladies on every step of the way! It was easy to see a little bit of myself in each of them, and I can honestly say I hope I am that brave at 70! Well written, and so easy to get swept away into the pages of European culture. I‘m back to reading The Getaway Girls, and I‘m currently around 4hrs for the day. I had a rough time sleeping last night, thanks to a mini food coma after we had Chinese food for dinner 😂

I‘ve finished 52% of this book in one sitting, but it‘s going on 4am, so I should probably sleep. Happy to have added another 2h45m to my readathon totals. Now I‘m off to fall asleep to my audiobook. 🖤
