Some of my favourite trilogies that feature young heroes / heroines, although I know many were unhappy how the Divergent Trilogy ended.

EadieB Never read this trilogy. Not sure I would like it. (edited) 4mo
Andrew65 @EadieB It‘s a great trilogy and wonderful audiobooks too. Todd and Viola! 😍 4mo
EadieB @Andrew65 I would probably do audio 4mo

Cinfhen I haven‘t really found any fiction that I enjoy on audio. Maybe mindless YA fantasy will be the answer...or maybe not 😉 4mo
Andrew65 @Cinfhen I find some books work, some don‘t. It allows me to engage in reading during the daily commute and travelling. 4mo
Cinfhen I agree!! Audio is an awesome way to fill empty hours but I‘m still struggling to find the right fiction that holds my attention. I‘m thinking of trying this book 4mo
Lizpixie I‘ve heard the audio of Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo is really good. @Cinfhen 4mo
Cinfhen Thanks for the recommendation @Lizpixie but I‘ve actually read that book already! Any other suggestions??? 4mo
Lizpixie @Cinfhen I highly recommend As You Wish by Carey Ewles, Not My Fathers Son by Alan Cummings, Carrie by Stephen King, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty, any of Kate Morton‘s books, Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer & any Dame Agatha audiobooks, especially the ones narrated by David Suchet! 4mo
Cinfhen Why thank you so much @Lizpixie I recently listened to Alan Cummings!!!! Sooooooo good 4mo
Lizpixie @Cinfhen no worries lovely! I have more but I wasn‘t sure that you like the genre(fantasy/sci-fi) 4mo
Andrew65 @Lizpixie The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo was good as an audiobook. Other good ones for me were The Help, The Outlander Series, 11.22.63, The Hunger Games, The Century Trilogy - Ken Follett, Tony Hill / Carol Jordan Series-Val McDermid, David Baldacci‘s Books, The Forgotten Legion Trilogy by Ben Kane, The Light Between Oceans, Roy Grace Series by Peter James, Assassin‘s Apprentice - Robin Hobbs I tend to prefer historical fiction as audiobooks. 4mo
Cinfhen Thanks so much for all the recs, Andrew😃 4mo
Andrew65 @Cinfhen I‘m sure others will come to my mind at some point. Will let you know. 4mo
Andrew65 @Cinfhen A good way for you to do those BIG books that interest you so much. 😂 4mo
Cinfhen Yeah, I was just thinking, no way I‘m listening to 32 hours of audio😬 4mo
Andrew65 @Cinfhen Some of them are close to 50 hours, e.g. Outlander 🙄😳 4mo
Cinfhen #Sorry, but I‘m a #LimitedListener 😊😊anything over 12 hours and I tune out 😜 4mo
Andrew65 @Cinfhen I tend to like them that same length unless it is a fabulous book. 4mo
Tove_Reads @Cinfhen Has to be less than 10 hours for me. Cosy mysteries work well! Also letters from skye, which I might not has enjoyed as a book. 4mo

hgrimes omg so cute!!! They must be the firefighting goats coming to manage the brush! Thank you for sharing! ❤️🐐❤️🐐 12mo
MinDea @QuietlyLaura they bring the goats in once a year to help clear up brush, blackberry bushes and other things! They move them from location to location for about a month in the summer here! Then they go back home! 12mo
arubabookwoman I‘ve lived in Seattle 30+ years and I don‘t think I knew this (there‘s always the possibility I once knew and have now forgotten🤪). Would love to see them in real life—must go track down where they are now. 12mo

What I‘m Reading:
For my #yearsofmylife read: #BridgeOvertheRiverKwai; #ExcellentWomen (a reread); #EastofEden (a reread), all published in 1952. On my Kindle, #City by Clifford Simak, also published in 1952 was a DNF. Also on Kindle I‘m reading the next #Poldark. #Sorry is for the traveling book club markup. I use Libby on my iPad, and there I‘m reading #TheAnimalGazer. #TerminalBeach is just because. Anyone else read by multiples?

Leftcoastzen Cool idea ! I am going to look into my birth year selections.#TBRmountain 12mo
arubabookwoman @Leftcoasten I started in January with the year I was born 1950. So far I‘ve cleared the #TBRMountain of books published in 1950 and 1951. Hope to finish ‘52 in July and move on to ‘53. The goal is to finish before I die, but somehow that seems unlikely. 🤩 I can always dream! 12mo
SledgeReader Woohoo! Love to see #ExcellentWomen getting some love!! 12mo

Well, I loved this one. And it‘s official: John Boyne could write a phone book and I‘d still read the shit out of it. And then cry about it for at least twenty minutes after finishing it. 😭 #reviewofchampions #sorry

Jennick2004 With a review like that, who could resist adding it to their TBR?! 13mo
