so-soThis was a decent book, but --- It was a #NotForMe type of book. I can see why people loved it, but I found it pretty predictable and sappy, which - I guess it's the type of book it was supposed to be. Oh well.

pickI really enjoyed this #DayOfTheDead #ThematicCozies book. I am hoping to find the next one on Libby :) --- Growing up, my family celebrates the Day of the Dead. My husband and I have tried to keep this tradition in VT with a little offering we keep in our home, but I really need to find a better area to put it in our home, so I can tend to it properly.

Finally got an outdoor #HammockReading day in yesterday. Woke up today to so much rain! I am glad I took advantage of yesterday!

I enjoyed the re-visit of this one. It felt too real/too haunting. I don't know if I would have been able to act in a similar way to the MC did. Like I get it, but could I? I highly doubt it.
Cleaned/organized my pantry for a big chunk of this #AudioCleaning (while drinking Bloody Mary's) - Love the new organization now.

1. I keep $20 in my car at all times. Mostly for gas, but lately, it's for ice cream money (there is a seasonal shop opened now that only takes cash).
2. I would say the family is kinda wealthy, and are not about sharing the wealth, but holding it over others. The MC family is poor poor dirt poor and now they are facing their downfall.

pick@CatieWithAC - It took me a bit to start, and then I finished this one. It had a lot of information, which was all very interesting, but I needed maybe more of a slower-paced, one type of poison/spice, more in-depth, instead of a little about a lot? If that makes sense.
