I loved loved loved this! I need to get volume 2 :)
So. This got me all upset at some points but also provided a great history of what women went through. As a nurse, I found it enlightening but also enraging. (I would have definitely burned at the stake)
I just couldn‘t get into it. Maybe this isn‘t the time for me? Maybe because it‘s not any really new information. I just couldn‘t really care about what she has to say. I am returning this one as unfinished
Reading by the pool :)
I‘ve heard good things... gonna try this one out
This was such a great story about one girls triumph. Regaining her body. Voicing her rights.#ihavetherightto should be my new mantra!
My hold came in. It sounds like a gripping story. Can‘t wait to start it
So.. I just couldn‘t stop listening to this one! It was so so good! It‘s heartbreaking the suffering these women faced, yet they persisted and fought on.
So this book was going to be my drive home book (Saturday I‘m doing a 3 day drive back to Texas from Connecticut). But I listened to see if I can handle the voice (that is a make or break for me with audiobooks) and I got hooked! I‘m already several chapters in :) it‘s a griping story!
I loved this book. It was shocking that some of the stories that helped shaped them are things I have in some way dealt with myself. Made me be a little more introspective on some of my interactions with people.
I struggle with this
Starting this one in between laundry loads :)
So it‘s not that I didn‘t like it but... I wanted to have an answer. The story was good but I wanted an ending. I didn‘t hate it. But didn‘t love it. I say it‘s a pick but if you are picky with a full story it‘s not for you.
So I picked this up at the car dealership when I was getting new tires (I had finished the book I was currently working on). Anyway, review here aren‘t too great.... but.... I am really enjoying it so far... I think it‘s right up my alley :)
I decided to give this one a listen. I read it probably more than 20 yrs ago. I saw my copy when I was at home and meant to bring it with me on assignment but I‘m guessing I had forgotten it. So listening it would be the next best :) also this is my fav Stephen King movie back in middle school times :)
