So. This got me all upset at some points but also provided a great history of what women went through. As a nurse, I found it enlightening but also enraging. (I would have definitely burned at the stake)

I just couldn‘t get into it. Maybe this isn‘t the time for me? Maybe because it‘s not any really new information. I just couldn‘t really care about what she has to say. I am returning this one as unfinished

This was such a great story about one girls triumph. Regaining her body. Voicing her rights.#ihavetherightto should be my new mantra!

So this one was more my speed. I enjoyed it. I think having heard it rather than read it created a more performance experience.

So. Better than the first. I think it was Adam that did it for me. Good ending and all but ... again maybe just not the type of book I normally read or really would have.

If I Stay | Gayle Forman

So. This was just “okay” I‘m considering looking up the movie to see what I think. Maybe it just wasn‘t a “for me” type of book. It is out of my norm. (Second book was a bit better)

So. Because I read/listened to Radium Girls so fast I downloaded two other books for my drive .

So.. I just couldn‘t stop listening to this one! It was so so good! It‘s heartbreaking the suffering these women faced, yet they persisted and fought on.

So this book was going to be my drive home book (Saturday I‘m doing a 3 day drive back to Texas from Connecticut). But I listened to see if I can handle the voice (that is a make or break for me with audiobooks) and I got hooked! I‘m already several chapters in :) it‘s a griping story!

I loved this book. It was shocking that some of the stories that helped shaped them are things I have in some way dealt with myself. Made me be a little more introspective on some of my interactions with people.

I just didn‘t like it. Maybe because I‘m not a teen? Maybe because I think that it was an unrealistic high school group? Maybe because it felt like random stories? Anyway. It just wasn‘t for me.

So listened to about an hour so far and don‘t really like it. Just seems like random stories. But maybe I need to give it some more time before I bail ...

I really enjoyed this book. It drew me in immediately and I was engaged (so much so I finished it in 2 days). The audiobook readers were very pleasant too so that helped I really enjoyed it. All in all happy to have listened to it :)

So this wasn‘t bad. But I kinda got bored of it at times. It had some cute punny areas and the switching between audio and traditional book was helpful. I would kinda lose focus and then go back to it. Oh well

So. I was interested in this when I saw it the other day but opted to just rent it from the library as I needed a new commute audiobook. I‘m about a quarter of the way through and so far am really enjoying it :)

So it‘s not that I didn‘t like it but... I wanted to have an answer. The story was good but I wanted an ending. I didn‘t hate it. But didn‘t love it. I say it‘s a pick but if you are picky with a full story it‘s not for you.

cfranchi I picked this book up at target a couple weeks ago! 2mo
ElizaMarie @cfranchi I did the same! So I don‘t hate it. Just would have liked a different ending. Let me know what you think. 2mo

I decided to give this one a listen. I read it probably more than 20 yrs ago. I saw my copy when I was at home and meant to bring it with me on assignment but I‘m guessing I had forgotten it. So listening it would be the next best :) also this is my fav Stephen King movie back in middle school times :)

This was great. I was able to be immersed in the audio book then go back and enjoy re-reading some passages in the physical book. I really enjoyed it :)
