Wow!!! I was hooked through the entire book and so surprised at the ending!! The complexity of the characters and the changes they go through is very relatable.

@Andrew65
Almost forgot to post my final #ReadingBracket2022
For a while there I was thinking it's gonna be hard deciding which would be my favourite 😉
My December #WrapUp
📚Whenever I read Epic/High Fantasy I need to go slower so just 5 books for this month.
🌟 Favourite:
The Way of Kings
A Christmas Carol (always 💖)
👎🏻And I didn't had any books I disliked this month.
I'm so happy to have finished the first Stormlight Archive book 🤩 I see now why it's such a hyped book.
I mean… it‘s not like I wasn‘t reading that or anything🤦🏻♀️😆😸 #hesactuallymycat #finankitten #catsoflitsy
Now that I have finished two (😅) books this week I figured I should dive into this bad boy when camping this weekend! Not too far in but it‘s already a stunning read!
Thank you for this #LittensWantToKnow @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks 😁
I would love to see Brandon Sanderson‘s “Stormlight Archive” on either the big or small screen. With weapons and armor made of glowing metal, magic giving people the ability to fly or craft illusions, and fairy-like spren manifesting for all sorts of emotions and elements, this would be breathtaking to see in a visual medium! 🤩 Something tells me @Branwen will back me up on this!
First step into the world of #BrandonSanderson and it‘s easy to see what all the hype is about. I have some problems with the narrators but the story is good enough to get over it, 😂 Anyone else reading Way of Kings?
#AlphabetGame @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
#LetterW
The Way of Kings is my favorite book starting with the letter "W".
Other favorites are:
We Are Legion by Dennis E. Taylor
A Whisper of Sorrows by J. D. Kirk
The Wise Man' Fear by Brandon Sanderson
Yeah, just sum up and review the longest novel you've ever read in 450 characters, they said. It'll be easy, they said.
It's really freaking good, but I'm very glad I'd already read four other cosmere books and spent two months reading this one instead of trying to brute-force my way through. It's a read that rewards time.
I absolutely LOVED this book so much! Bridge Four is EVERYTHING! I was so invested in the characters even from the beginning! Off to read book 2 as I need more!
Read this one because my adult son & daughter-in-law really like it. I don‘t usually like fantasy books, but this is an exception for me. It is LONG, but I found it engaging. Will need to catch my breath before delving into the next in the series, but plan on reading it. I switched between the audiobook and kindle version. The narration of the audiobook is very good.
So, I‘m a day late with my wrap up post because……well…..I didn‘t realize May had ended. A lot of stuff happened in May, but it still felt like it flew by. But it was a good reading month. I finally feel like I‘m out of my slump. Plus, I read a lot of books that I enjoyed. I don‘t think I gave anything less that four stars. But The Way of Kings stole the show. It‘s a new favorite for sure.
Did you find a new favorite this month?
Couldn‘t get into it - only made it a few chapters. it just felt like so many other books I‘ve read recently, the plot, the setting, the characters, I‘ve read it all before. Perhaps I‘ll try again
Started reading this after hearing so many people rave about the stormlight archive series. It‘s really good so far, just a lot of mechanics to take in and learn about, that‘s why I‘m utilizing the stormlight archive wiki as I read to learn things.

I finally finished this beast of a book, and I loved it! I didn‘t love Dalinar or Adolin‘s points of view at first, but Shallan and Kaladin kept me interested enough to keep going. By the end, I was hooked by the whole story. And in true Sanderson fashion the ending was epic. It took some time to get through this one, but it was totally worth the effort.

I just got home from work and that means...MY OFFICIAL 10 DAY BIRTHDAY VACATION BEGINS! 🎉🎉🎉 I had to use up some pto, and what better time to do it than around my birthday, which is Saturday! I'm going to be spending the time off reading, kitty cuddling, and walking at the park! Bliss! 💕📚
Also, yes. I am attempting to re-read Stormlight Archive again before Sanderson's new books come out next year. Yes, I'm crazy. 😁❤ #catsoflitsy #rumpel
#sundayfunday
1. Fantasy
2. Tagged is definitely a new classic of fantasy
3. Brandon Sanderson, Ilona Andrews, Joe Abercrombie, Anne Bishop & Jen Williams
What a beast this one was!!! I really enjoyed Kaladin and Dalinar‘s chapters and I am excited to see where this series goes. I am hoping Shallan‘s story arc improves because her chapters often had me bored to tears.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Full cast with intense sound effects, this sinks you into the Stormlight world fully. As with the print edition, I love the worldbuilding, which really comes to the forefront in this edition, and the well-developed characters. The battle descriptions were a bit too much for me in the print version; however, the added sound effects mediated that and I found it quite gripping. All and all, the best possible way to experience this particular book.
Hello Litsy! It‘s been awhile. I only have two reading goals this year, one of which is to finally read Brandon Sanderson‘s Stormlight series. I am currently about 650 pages through book 1! My second goal is to read 10 books-a much lower number than my usual but I plan to tackle a lot of very big books this year.

Strawberry Hibiscus jam I made on my day off ❤️ Inspired by the Simberry jam from The Stormlight Archives (this one is poison-free, I promise 👀) #thewayofkings #shallan #kabsal #brandonsanderson #oathbringer #wordsofradiance #rhythmofwar #strawberry #hibiscus #jam #canning #audiocanning
I finished this massive fantasy epic and wow it was great. Very character driven, unique magic system, war torn world: all elements that equal the best fantasy. I look forward to continuing this series! 5⭐️

I absolutely adored this beast of a book. I loved the multi point of views. Kaladin is my favorite character and my heart broke for him multiple times. The world building and the characters were great. This is a masterpiece and now one of my favorite fantasy series ever.

I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it. Some will be old, some will be new - don't judge me, I have a lot of books.
Day 66th
Join the fun if you want!
#tbrpile
Just starting this and I‘m so excited. I love chunky epic fantasies.
After postponing for ages because of other books, finally started and finished book 1. It took a while to get into the flow, but once in it, it was great. Gearing up already for book number two.
Any one on good reads shame litsy doesn‘t have book progress update I use good reads as well as this app to and Bookly? @Andrew65 any of friends have on here that talk to want to add me goodreads ?
I could not stop listening to this book, it was so good. I finished it in 2 days, I lived with my headphones in that entire time. I tried this book years ago and just wasn‘t that into it then, I‘m glad I gave it another go. The world is so big and fascinating and the characters are interesting. Kalidan was by far my favorite with Dalinar close behind. I‘m getting some other reading done before I jump into book 2 but it‘s definitely happening.
I love this book! Especially the ending! This book is all sorts of complicated and it‘s very info dumpy but if you stick through til the end, it‘s 100% worth it! I cannot speak any higher than I do about Brandon Sanderson! He‘s an amazing author!
The Stormlight Archives has been on my radar for years. At 1,000 pgs I hoped the 1st book was worth it. It takes a bit to get into the rhythm of the novel. The story rotates between POVs & there's a lot of battle scenes, which were tiresome, but I loved the character development. As it went on I began to see the connections & the main characters became interesting. Halfway through I wasn‘t sure I loved it, but by the end I couldn't put it down.
