Bookwormjillk One of my earliest memories is asking my Dad what he was reading and him teaching me what rabies was....

I thought this was okay, but it dragged a bit. I'm pretty sure I've read it before, but didn't remember much. 3w

BookwormAHN I remember reading this in 4th grade and the first few pages terrified me but I also remember me and my mother getting in an argument on how to spell damn and me showing it to her in the book 😸 3w

BookwormAHN I also agree that this is the most realistic of his terrors and all dogs should be vaccinated for rabies. 3w

BookwormAHN Also the monster/man in the closet is the same as the serial killer in The Dead Zone. 3w

KathyWheeler I ended up feeling bad for Cujo as well as for the people in this novel. It does drag a little bit though. 3w

AllDebooks This one hit me hardest. I thought the pace was goid and added to the tension. My heart broke for Cujo. I was incensed at Tad's parents for not being more supportive. Both of them had the heebie jeebies around the cupboard and noticed the awful smell. There is no rational explanation, but I would not be putting my child in that room. 3w

ElizaMarie I didn't get to read this one - also one I had never read, so Its on my TBR to seek it out, but I am interested in reading other's responses to it. 2mo

KathyWheeler I read these all years ago when that collection first came out. I didn‘t remember Roadwork at all. It‘s not my favorite at all. 2mo

KathyWheeler @BarkingMadRead Apparently it made none one either! The only one I remember well from that collection is Rage. 2mo

PaperbackPirate I thought it was a good story despite it being so dark. The main character frustrated me but at the same time I understand why he was so upset. 2mo
