bailedLoved the beginning of this book - at 51% in I have stalled. Cannot get interested in this quest or the other world - maybe my tastes have changed over time or maybe the middle is just too long, but this is not working for me. Time to move on.

New tattoo on my forearm, I‘m at a book con and they bring in a tattoo artist for us every year. #losersclub
When in Tucson I always go to Bookman‘s because of their extremely affordable used books. 🤩 Plus with young readers we can get them some cute reads. I got some Agatha Christie, Jane Austen, A copy of Jane Eyre, some Stephen King for #LosersClub, and some reads I‘m really excited for. 🥰 Yay #BookHaul
pickI really liked the MC I found him very nuanced &relatable. His deal with God leads him to being a Good Samaritan helping a neighbor, &then a quest &a then another quest with much higher stakes. Very endearing. Too long in the middle, but I did like the distorted fairy tale elements.
