A busy week! So I‘m late on my November wrap-up, but it was a good reading month. 31 books read (no DNFs!), 14 of which were picture books; 17 non-fiction so I met my goal of half my books being NF for the month. 4904 pages puts it right in the middle of my months for this year. I‘m six books from my goal of 300 and ten owned books from my Mount TBR goal of 100. Both should be doable, despite a frenzied December heading my way.

November Wrap-up (since I failed to keep up with #bookreport and #weeklyforcast each week)

This was a slow month for me, no #bookspinbingo . I know the counts below seem like I read a lot, but almost 75% were children‘s picture books.

Total read - 25
Fiction - 20
Audio- 4
Graphic novel - 1
Children‘s book - 14
Kindle - 1
Non-fiction - 5
Audio - 1
Children‘s book -4

Gissy Great!👏👏👏👏 12mo

My August wrap up. Technically 8 read because I read the ebook for Why Not Me along with the audio which contained supplemental chapters. It was a pretty good month but I hit a slump towards the end and ended up making progress across several books instead of focusing on a couple to finish 🙃 #BookSpinBingo

April #BookSpin Wrap Up

April kind of kicked my butt. My kid had a 2 week quarantine due to Covid exposure which was a lot to handle while working from home. (No worries he‘s negative.) And I‘m in the middle of processing divorce paperwork and getting ready to move so it‘s been run run run with mot much reading time. I got 5 down this month which considering the length of The Secret History is not bad for such a busy month.

TheAromaofBooks Looks like you still made great progress!! Hope May is a little easier on you!! 2y

I won‘t finish anything else today, so this is my April wrap up. The top four are my favorites from this month, but looking at this image, I had a really good month. There were only a couple I really didn‘t enjoy. 14 books total, 9 #mountTBR, 5 #ReadingAsia2021, 4 for #Booked2021, 2 bails (not pictured) 💖 #AprilStats #AprilWrapup

I‘m super sad that I won‘t be able to finish either of my print books today because of work. 😭 I really wanted to head into April with a clean slate. I will finish my audiobook and I can‘t be too mad with my #marchstats. 4 books for #readingasia2021, 3 books for #booked2021, and 6 books for #MountTBR. 2335 pages and about 43 hours of audio. My favorites were the books for the library‘s #communityread2021, Ghost, & The Janissary Tree.

Mitch That‘s an impressive month! 2y

While I didn‘t read all of the books I wanted or originally planned to read, February was a busy month, thanks to 7 audiobooks. 2 books for #readingasia2021, 3 books for #booked2021, and 12 for #MountTBR. I also have 3 books carrying over into March. #februarywrapup #februarystats (The top 3 were my favorites and the rest of the books are in order from the ones I liked most to the ones I liked least.)

Reading in 2020 presented all sorts of challenges.
Lots of time at home, but home with small children isn‘t that conducive to reading.
Bookstores were closed but got a bunch of books from friends moving away.
Books where an escape from the crazy reality & a window into the racial injustice that plagues the United States.
I listened & learned & traveled & supported small businesses
#Readingchallenege2021 is use the library!

I'm most likely not going to finish another book this year so I'm calling 2019 closed! I had only 1 plan this year: read every day. #Booked2019 and #BBRC pushed me in directions I didn't expect and I'm so happy for it! Wishing everyone a happy holiday season and a wonderful 2020! 😘🤗 #LoveYouLittens #ThankfulForYouALL

15 total this month for the #september2019reads

All were on my TBR, with only 2 being rereads. I had a good mixture of ARCs and already published novels.

Thanks to #24B4Monday and #SummersEndReadathon (hosted by the always awesome @TheReadingMermaid @Andrew65 and @Clwojick respectively) August was my second-best reading month this year!

4 DNFs (but some new space on the shelves)
23 books finished
5306 pages!

One of my goals for the remainder of the year is to hit 100,000 pages on the Litfluence counter, which is about 9k pages. At this rate it should happen Oct-Nov.

December totals: 8 books finished, 1930 pages.

2018 totals (not 100%, as I only started tracking in May and had to rely on memory for the first part of the year): 62 books finished, 4 DNF, 18,498 pages.

I‘ve never set reading goals before, but I‘m having a go. I‘m also doing the Harry Potter buddy read. No number goal, but I want to continue to pick up momentum like I did this past year. Litsy has been a big help getting back into reading!

erzascarletbookgasm Love the view too. And well done for June! 4y
Cinfhen That view!!!! Hubby & I are still toying with Crete in August ( I‘ll need to get tips from you) 4y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen that sounds lovely! We are staying near a little gushing village called Kolymbari/Kolymvari (the spelling changes depending where you look) about 25km from Chania. There isn‘t a lot going on here, but the hotel is great, and we got an upgrade because of some trouble with our room, so we are enjoying it a lot! 4y
Cinfhen Thanks, we can‘t make up our mind because August is high season and rates are so inflated. We keep wondering if maybe we should go October instead (edited) 4y
Cinfhen Have u ever been to Cyprus??? It seems more affordable in August???! 4y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen I haven‘t been, but I hear Cyprus is lovely! Also, the weather might be a bit more endurable in October. It is supposed to be really, really hot in August! 4y
Cinfhen Truth is Israel has stunning beaches and gorgeous weather ( although VERY HOT) so it makes zero sense for us to travel to Greece during the crowded season 4y
Cinfhen And after my 26 hour travel day this past Sunday, I‘m not so keen to get back on an airplane in August 😉 4y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen well, sometimes it is just about getting away from home (and chores!!!) that make vacation necessary, not the great beaches or weather. But I can imagine it makes it harder to choose where to go when you have everything you need in your own country. Denmark does have a lot of beaches, but without the warm weather, they aren‘t all that much fun 4y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen 26 hours!!! That‘s insane. Hope your jetlag isn‘t too bad? When are you going back to Israel again? 4y
Cinfhen I totally agree!!! And that‘s what I keep telling my hubby. It‘s exploring new places and a change of scenery but airports are vacation #buzzKill😫 we fly back on July 23. I forced myself to stay awake last night, so I went to bed at 10:30pm and I woke up at 5:30 this morning ( much better than 2:20 am Yesterday) 4y
Kalalalatja @Cinfhen they really are! We got stuck on a plane with three infants that weren‘t all that fond of flying. But luckily it was only a 3 hour flight, so no big deal. Hopefully you are past the worst of the jetlag now 🤞🤞 4y
Cinfhen Thanks, Katja! Safe travels home 😘 4y

June‘s totals. This is less than I usually read, but I was out of town for two conferences which took up a lot of time.

Pamwurtzler Nice! 4y
