I finally figured out how to get my 2023 Storygraph wrap up to generate. And while I like it, it doesn‘t feature what I‘m most interested in. I love knowing I read 143! New to me authors and 160 books off my shelves although that stat includes books purchased in 2023. All in all a fantastic year in books.

mcctrish Do you use free StoryGraph or the paid one? 4mo
Deblovestoread I use the paid one but am not sure you have to be to get the links. I had to install the newest version of the app on my IPad to get the links. I updated the app on my android phone and it still doesn‘t show the links. 4mo

2023 wrap-up!

I actually read 146 titles, Storygraph doesn't have some of the indie Canadian plays I was reading in 2023, but it's close enough! I'm glad funny made some gains on the dark slice, and I am entirely unsurprised that emotional and reflective are my top moods of the year!

A busy week! So I‘m late on my November wrap-up, but it was a good reading month. 31 books read (no DNFs!), 14 of which were picture books; 17 non-fiction so I met my goal of half my books being NF for the month. 4904 pages puts it right in the middle of my months for this year. I‘m six books from my goal of 300 and ten owned books from my Mount TBR goal of 100. Both should be doable, despite a frenzied December heading my way.

November Wrap-up (since I failed to keep up with #bookreport and #weeklyforcast each week)

This was a slow month for me, no #bookspinbingo . I know the counts below seem like I read a lot, but almost 75% were children‘s picture books.

Total read - 25
Fiction - 20
Audio- 4
Graphic novel - 1
Children‘s book - 14
Kindle - 1
Non-fiction - 5
Audio - 1
Children‘s book -4

My August wrap up. Technically 8 read because I read the ebook for Why Not Me along with the audio which contained supplemental chapters. April #BookSpin Wrap Up

April kind of kicked my butt. My kid had a 2 week quarantine due to Covid exposure which was a lot to handle while working from home. (No worries he‘s negative.) And I‘m in the middle of processing divorce paperwork and getting ready to move so it‘s been run run run with mot much reading time. I got 5 down this month which considering the length of The Secret History is not bad for such a busy month.

TheAromaofBooks Looks like you still made great progress!! Hope May is a little easier on you!! 3y

I will finish my audiobook and I can‘t be too mad with my #marchstats. 4 books for #readingasia2021, 3 books for #booked2021, and 6 books for #MountTBR. 2335 pages and about 43 hours of audio. My favorites were the books for the library‘s #communityread2021, Ghost, & The Janissary Tree.

I also have 3 books carrying over into March. #februarywrapup #februarystats (The top 3 were my favorites and the rest of the books are in order from the ones I liked most to the ones I liked least.)

Reading in 2020 presented all sorts of challenges.
Lots of time at home, but home with small children isn‘t that conducive to reading.
Bookstores were closed but got a bunch of books from friends moving away.
Books where an escape from the crazy reality & a window into the racial injustice that plagues the United States.
I listened & learned & traveled & supported small businesses
