Reading The Shining on a up and back trip to philly.
So far it's ok, something to read on a 8 hours drive.
"Sometimes we need a reminder of who we are in order to refute the lie of what we are not."
Haha...now that is funny
This was a pretty good book but it took me longer than normal to complete. The character connections caught me off guard and I didnt see the ending coming. Some of the story lines are still not complete and has me wondering. But overall I really did enjoy this story.
"Black and white thinking is not just a philosophical problem; it's a barrier to change."
Going in blind but I love everything medicine!!!
Digging into this amazing book and studying the bible.
"Our history does not have to be our destiny"
"Shedding the old skin of doubt and disbelief will not be easy, especially if your situation's outcome doesnt align with your Hope's and expectations."
"Lies breed in silence, and silence is deadly. Though speaking the truth can be painful, sharing the secrets can bring healing."
This is my first CoHo book and it was beyond amazing. It was full of strong emotions and almost ever turn. It hit super close to home to me. I did not cry but it angered, made me laugh, made me cry and made me want to throw the book across the room. It has been day 3 since I finished it (mind you, I read it in one day) and I am still thinking about Lilly. I cannot say a ton about it because then you will know to much, just jump right in.
