We Are Always Tender with Our Dead- hardcore horror fans only
Deadland- 2nd in series- good ??
Circle of Days- good fiction about Stonehenge, enjoyed a lot
The Slicks- can‘t believe this was £.99 for 63 pages and I felt like I could have written it (yes I should have then ?)
Gone Before Goodbye- enjoyable thriller
Killing Stones- just started this morning.

BarbaraBB Good week! 13h
squirrelbrain How much?! 😮 11h
AnneCecilie I get interested when I saw that the Slicks was about Taylor Swift, then I saw the price and thought I should wait and see if the library gets it 11h
TrishB @squirrelbrain @AnneCecilie it was a gift so I‘m complaining on their behalf! I definitely wouldn‘t buy though. It was like reading a magazine article. 9h

Miss Harper has me so discombobulated that I have no idea what day it is (the cold meds aren‘t helping either!), I thought I‘d go ahead and post what I didn‘t post last Sunday. 🤪 #bookreport #weeklyforecast

#BookReport for December

Not a lot of reading done this month. Heat Wave is my top pick for the month. Penelope Lively never disappoints.

sarahbarnes Heat Wave is on my list! 2d

Finished Wreck- enjoyed but didn‘t feel was anything particularly special.
The Black Wolf- so many twists and turns in this I got whiplash. This series is coming to a natural end I think.
Enjoyed The Eights- only 125 years since women were allowed to get degrees at Oxford. But remember there are women and girls all over the world not allowed an education 😕
Reading We Are Always- weird AF so far

Bookwormjillk I‘m reading Black Wolf now and thinking the same thing. 1w
Reggie lol, love this weekly report. 7d
TrishB @Bookwormjillk it‘s very hard to keep a series long running and I think authors (and probably publishing houses!) keep them going longer than they should and obviously why some authors start new series. 6d

TrishB @Reggie have you read any LaRocca? That was weird and very unsettling! 6d
Reggie @TrishB I have. It was the one about the lesbians. One is trying to sell an apple peeler online and it just gets so crazy. I don‘t think they ever meet but it becomes this thing about how far one can push the other and one of them ends up dead. It was wild. As much as I liked it, I never picked up another. 6d
TrishB @Reggie this one was off the scale in grossness. And I read a big cross section of horror! 6d
