I went to the post office to buy stamps for my bag full of cards for #HolidayCardSwap.
All I had to do was buy stamps, put them on the cards, then mail them.
I bought the stamps and made it all the way to my car before I realized I had forgotten the last two steps.
Doh!
Don't worry, Littens, the cards are on their way despite my absent-mindedness.
I mailed out my #allhallowsreadswap package to @Wastedmindsx this morning. Sorry Elizabeth, I just realized the card never made it into the box.

So, this is interesting, I ordered a book called Old Baggage, but this is what I received 🤔 The inside is The Tattooist of Auschwitz too! What really bothers me is that if the incorrect title hadn‘t been embossed on the outside I might not have noticed the inside pages were wrong - makes me want to check all my unread books!

Welp, it finally happened. Frankly, I‘m surprised it took this long. I finally dropped my phone in the toilet. 😱💩💀 It‘s working right now... but chances that it will continue working aren‘t good.
We‘ve decided to search for used phones on Amazon instead of buying new devices at Verizon, which may take a small chunk of days. My presence may be scarce on Litsy for the next week or so. Any tips on dealing with the shakes? #kiddingnotkidding

And here we go again! Maybe this one will be #rebelliongate? Anyway, some video game developers from the UK want to trademark rebellion for use in virtually all art forms from video games to movies to books. Someone had already started tweeting out instances in which books have used rebellion in the title. I‘m pretty sure there‘s at least one Star Wars video game or show that has rebels or rebellion so it‘s gonna be a tough sell.
A few oopses:
First, I meant to post this yesterday and forgot. So, how‘s everyone doing on the #MountTBRchallenge? How many books chipped off that mountain to date this year? If you‘re on a book buying ban or have a book buying limit/reward in exchange for TBR books read, have you been able to stick to it?
Me, I‘ve now finished 13 TBRs of 16 total YTD.
2ndly, I basically utterly failed to hold completely from my book buying ban: 6 new books
Oops! I‘ve gotten #bookmail everyday for a week except Sunday and it started last Tuesday. All arcs except my #botm. I think my husband is going to have me committed possibly. 😁

When the paper ARC you‘re reading has what looks like a typo (pretty sure this is supposed to be “deeper in DEBT” 🤷🏻♀️) and the finished ebook has the same error 🤔 If you have a finished hardcover, I‘d love the know what word your copy has. So I totally made my husband one of his favorite dinners, scalloped potatoes & ham, and started it early so it would be cooked & then while preheating the oven sat down with my book....an hour later I discovered I forgot to put it in the oven 😳Oopps!! A friend introduced me to Yuri On Ice on Easter. I've now watched it twice and am figuring out how to squeeze in a third viewing. The depiction of anxiety in one of the characters really hit home for me. It's also really gorgeous and romantic (they have a ice skating choreographer). I almost want to start watching figure skating again. I'm now 2 books behind on my annual reading goal AND I still haven't completed this month's book club book. Oops.
Well, @KilgoreTrout , it seems the mystery of my missing #cupidgoespostal package has come to a frightful end. The only thing that made it was the valentine from your niece -- which I'm super glad wasn't lost -- and your note! 😂
