This just makes me sad. Did anyone else use this site to track series reads? You could choose series to track and they‘d show you the books you‘d completed reading and send you an email when a new book was released. I hope I can find something to replace this great service. #Fictfact #seriesreads

robinb I didn‘t even know about this...how cool is that!!! And how sad that it‘s closed! I would have loved this, being a big series fanatic. 😩 (edited) 2d

Lynnsoprano That sounds like it would have been something really useful. But you have tagged one of my all time favorite series 😀 2d
cherinium Perhaps it is no longer running because none of us knew about it! 2d
Pamwurtzler @Lynnsoprano I‘ve only read the first one of those but really enjoyed it. 2d
Pamwurtzler @cherinium The image is too small to read the fine print, but they got most of their funding from Amazon. They inadvertently violated one of Amazon‘s rules and got dropped. 2d

This one stretched the limits of ghostly credulity for me, but I do like the characters (even the snarky ghost) so I‘ll reserve the next one. A crew of tv ghost hunters disrupts the Irish village, and trigger an ancient curse. There are a couple of murders woven in too.

The Descendants: A Novel | Kaui Hart Hemmings

Mehso-so

I was going to pan this, because for 90% of the book there was not a single character that I liked at all. It‘s about a family where the dad is a descendant of Hawaiian royalty, and who has been completely detached from his kids. The mom is in a coma as a result of a boating accident and the daughters are completely messed up. It got better at the bittersweet end. #ReadingUSA2019 #Hawaii

Jasper Fforde‘s books are quirky and fun! This one is set in a Wales where the people hibernate all winter, except the ones on charge of making sure the sleepers are safe. I‘ll definitely need to re-read this - I get something new every time I read his books!

It‘s been a while since I read a book for #ReadingUSA2019, it seems like all the books I have are set in England, or some state I already have. I like this series about a Seattle detective and his travails with women and booze. I‘m doing a slow reread. The pictured book is #6 in the series. #Washington
