I‘ve been dipping in and out of this book (a series of essays, quotes, interspersed with lovely illustrations) the whole week, sharing some quotes that I loved..it‘s good if you take your time with the little nuggets of suggestions instead of reading it at one go. I didn‘t resonate with everything but basically it aims to make us reflect on our busy life, inspire us to be kinder and nicer to ourselves and interacting with others.

#TIL that I should not keep carrying resentment in my heart. Sometimes it‘s not so easy to forgive but offering forgiveness can set us free and make us happier.

wanderinglynn That‘s a lovely and profound thought. Thanks for sharing. 💜 3mo

Nice book, good writing and easy to read. However doesn't bring anything new. More of the same.

Some good quotes and anecdotes and I can see why people like it but it lacked a bit of substance for me. #booked2018 #diversenonfiction

Cinfhen Interesting but not something I‘d probably pick up...I‘m too busy 🤪 1y

Fabulous book. I think this is one I need to go back to again and again. So much to learn. So many habits to practice. #mindfulness #buddhism #awakened #spirituality

This was a spontaneous library request, and it was just the thing I needed to start helping me get out of this "what do I do with my life" funk. I'll be saving my pennies to buy my own copy. Practical, straightforward, smart, and compassionate. Just loved it.

And he loves books for so many reasons - I think he's a Litten at heart! ❤️

elkeo_TheBookDragon What's funny is I am the opposite - I hesitate to spend on food, but never hesitate on brand new hardcover books! 2y
cariashley I'm definitely like this, but only because of space concerns. The wine mysteriously disappears somehow. 😊 2y
Ashley_Nicoletto This is so true for me! I'm working on spending less on wine and more on books. 🙃 2y

LauraBrook @Mimi28 @elkeo My default is to spend money on books and then see what's leftover to pay bills, get food, etc. Not a great way to live, but I can't seem to break the routine! 2y
