Had a pretty dismal February. Just not in the mood. Currently reading the Belles. I‘m enjoying it but also annoyed by it. But I think I finally hit the part that will keep my attention.

1. Two grey kitties ash and Goku yes my husband loves anime
2. Reading with a side of reading
3. Singing, listening to music
4. Colorado, New York and kansas (my bestie is there)
5. What would do if you won the lotto? Get a bigger home so I could build a library and a recording studio and get take out all day plus share with friends and family

Some of my earliest and fondest memories of reading are from this show. Now I can't sleep and have the theme song stuck in my head.

My niece was a huge Reading Rainbow fan. I was listening to a podcast and heard LeVar mention Skybrary so called to tell my niece about it. Guess who‘s ear got screamed in? 🤔 She‘s already created an account for her boys.

LAST ROUND of books today !All 127 kids I read with got 3 books each & box to a third grade for them to pick too.I found a way of explaining that they get to keep them forever, the books..I ask them if they know about adopting pets from the rescue or pound. Then I explain that I've rescued and fixed up these books so they can give them new homes . This works beautifully and they are so very excited to give the book a new home and take care of it!!

Between packing and looking for a new apartment, and then just being dead tired, I haven't really read yet this weekend. But I have been catching up on some episodes of the LeVar Burton Reads podcast. (Loved "Unassigned Territory" by Stephanie Powell Watts.) As an old Reading Rainbow fan, I get a little choked up when he signs off with "I'll see you next time. But you don't have to take my word for it." ??

Lol. Between working this weekend and the nasty cold I got yesterday. This is all the reading I got done. Next time, I‘ll be sure to take some PTO and maybe get myself a nice hotel room with no distractions. #24in48 #readathon

My TBR shelf is looking thinner than I‘ve seen it in a while. I don‘t know whether to be proud that I‘ve been reading more and buying less or frustrated that I haven‘t read more.
My reading goal for the year is an average of two books a month including four that are more than 500 pages.
