Really enjoyed the conclusion of this series! Still had a lot of good action and adventure that I‘ve come to expect from this series. Also it was wonderful ending to all the characters stories that you‘ve grown to know and love. So I was very satisfied with the ending and it just felt complete. Great series!

Wow! Just Wow! It‘s been a while since a read a book that was from the perspective of just one character, and it did not disappoint! Following Hanneke‘s story was just amazing! This book (ATM) is my top 2019 read!!! Told from 3 different perspectives & yet as seamless as could be! I loved all the characters & the writing is so rich you almost become those characters & feel what they feel. This book has it all! Adventure, love, heartbreak, action & mystery. At times I wanted to jump through the pages & say ‘she‘s right under your nose!‘ most of the time where I was just anxious to see what happened next!

I absolutely loved this book! Right from the start I was hooked! It was everything I love! A strong independent woman, the theatre, sports (baseball), romance, tragedy and some true history thrown in the mix! I loved getting lost in this world and fell in love with the characters. I loved how the story was spread over several years, rather than a small section of the characters lives. Highly recommend this historical fiction!

This book was amazing! I have loved this series from book one! This mystery has a lot of twist and I absolutely loved the new character the Quilter! Lovin‘ this graphic novel! It‘s spot on for bookworms! My new snuggle bug Penny (we decided on her name, it‘s from Hairspray bc she a ‘checker board chick‘ 🤣😏) just can‘t seem to hang! So last weekend we sadly lost our sweet boy Wicked. So today we decided to save a life at our local animal shelter and ADOPT! Meet Briar (name not 100% yet)!!! She is a precious 2 month old kitten that will hopefully fit right in with our crazy animal crew! She has been an amazing car rider and I‘m hopeful she will be a good snuggler while I read!

I really liked this book. Kind of read like a memoir but wasn‘t and I really enjoyed that. I loved the way it was written as a letter to her children. I loved how real Marie was and how blunt she could be with her thoughts and perspectives. Overall just a great book! Can‘t wait to read more by this author! Great debut novel!

My heart is heavy and breaking...my fluffy snuggle buddy is gone. My sweet Wicked crossed over the Rainbow 🌈 bridge. My house just doesn‘t feel right without this ‘Hi‘ meow...I swear he was saying ‘Hi‘ it was precious! We think he either got bit by something or just some how got a nasty nasty infection that he just couldn‘t fight. My heart just hurts 💔😭

I have really been enjoying this series! Though this book takes place many years after book 2 many of the same characters are there yet the new ones are equally important and interesting. This book follows the daughter of Hester and Tom and I really enjoyed following Wren‘s story! Excited to start the fourth and final book in the Hungry City chronicles!

Sitting in my car determined to finish my book as I‘m waiting to see a concert with my daughter and her best friend. They are out in line in the cold and I am warm and snug with my book in the car! I absolutely loved this book! Not your typical predictable historical fiction! Loved the 3 different stories going on and the twist at the end! I also loved the independence of the character Grace, loved how her story was not your typical ending...I don‘t want to spoil it! Great great addition to the WW2 historical fiction genre!

This was a great historical fiction, and I loved the majority of the book but I would have liked to read more about the Ack-Ack girls. This was the first historical fiction that I have ever read about those women and I wanted more! The love stories in both perspectives were a bit overwhelming at times. Though I have to admit the twist was pretty shocking! Overall ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 stars

I really enjoyed this second installment of the Mortal Engines series. I honestly had worried how it would go with so many of the previous books characters gone. I enjoyed the new adventure and new and exciting characters. Really excited about things to come with that ending!

I am usually a pretty slow reader but this book I could hardly put down! This story was so different and so magical from a anything that I have read before! This was a beautiful book. This was the first book I have ever read on WWII (and they are my favorite) that had the perspective of someone who was German. It was amazing to see that perspective as well as an American and Polish perspectives. I would highly recommend this wonderful WWII book!
