The final leg of this quest. It's been a long ride. @hannah-leeloo
I only read 40 books this year, but that's okay. Out of all of them the best was The Dark Tower series. Roland's journey broke my heart and it has become a new favorite of mine. Not sure why I waited so long to read it, but glad I finally did!

This book is emotionally destroying me
I'm not crying, it's just raining on my face...

4. Love reading across genres but I have a soft spot for horror & suspense. Recent faves I've been meaning to read more of: A.C. Wise, John Langan, Sarah Lotz, Priya Sharma

I‘m 41% into the final book of The Dark Tower Series, which has taken some quite bizarre turns. What was Stephen King smoking when he wrote this. 😂 I‘d love to know what goes on in Stephen King‘s head, on second thoughts perhaps not. 😳 That said am interested to see where this book is heading. #EpicKatetBuddyRead #DarkTower #StephenKing
For some reason I didn‘t finish the #EpicKatetBuddyRead so have picked up the final book in the series, The Dark Tower. Hopefully this will bring sone answers to what has been going on. #StephenKing #DarkTower
My journey to The Dark Tower has finally come to an end. The series is at its best in books 4 and 5. This last installment is good, though there are many new characters introduced as the series comes to an end. Still, it‘s a great series. Overall rating: 4.21 stars
Bitter sweet but satisfying ❤️ I wish had read these books closer together because there is just so many characters and plot points that come back up that I didn‘t get the instant ah ha revelations I maybe should have in some part. This is the first set of books I‘ve read by King and I can‘t wait to read the books mentioned in connection. I loved all the characters and cried at several parts. I hope to reread this series again one day 😊
As we are told several times throughout this series Ka is a wheel so is this book the end or merely a new beginning?
There are a lot of things I liked about this book and others that I personally didn‘t like but that make perfect sense within the confines of the King multiverse.
I am hoping the buddy readers return as I definitely want to chat about this.
#EpicKaTet I love all the King references and criticisms in this book.
Looks like my next King book is going to be Insomnia 🤣🤣🤣
I ended up loving this series. I admit the first two books I didn't like very much. I loved the third. The seventh was a good ending to the Tower series. There were quite a few deaths, two of which about did me in. More about those in the comments ⬇️☠⬇️ #epickatet #epickatetread
After two years and eight books, I am finally done with this series. There were parts where I got more emotional than expected, and many times when things got so meta or so bonkers that I had to put a book down and go take a walk. I don‘t know that I loved the ending, but a series like this was always going to be about the journey anyway. Long days and pleasant nights.
I got some great book mail yesterday! @Trashcanman sent me the final Dark Tower book. Thanks! I finally have them all! I'm checking out my new book while a have a big cup of coffee and a giant cookie for breakfast, because I'm a grown up and I can have cookies for breakfast if I want to.
Well- I did it, with about 2 hours to spare. 😉 The Dark Tower series was amazing. Reading the books was a 2 year process for me, which made this final book even more emotional than I expected it to be. As good as book 7 was, it wasn‘t my favorite—that goes to Wolves of the Calla. But I am glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and spent some time with the ka-tet.
Happy New Year! May you have long days and pleasant nights.
Determined to finish this bad boy before 2019.
Started this in August, and had to put it aside because I just couldn‘t give it the time it deserved. Jumped back in today. 4 more days of winter break to put a dent into it.
Hey guys. Looks like people are starting to finish up Wizard and Glass. Got a couple questions for you all:
1. Would you like to take a break from the series or keep plowing through?
2. Would you like to read them in chronological order or publication order? Mainly asking...would you like to read Wolves of the Calla (Book 5) next or The Wind Through the Keyhole (Book 4.5)
On my way to see Pearl Jam!! Bringing this bad boy with me, but not how much time we will actually spend together. 😁
"The road and the tale have both been long, would you not say so? The trip has been long and the cost has been high... but no great thing was ever attained easily. A long tale, like a tall Tower, must be built a stone at a time."
Mr. King really outdid himself on this. Probably the best finale to a saga that I‘ve read. It‘s like “2001: A Space Odyssey.”
Would like to get lost in here...
"by law, it means we are entitled to receive a copy of every book that is published in the United Kingdom and Ireland. But the answer that speaks to my passions as a librarian and archivist, is that it means we are home to a collection that tells the remarkable story of our national life through the printed word"

This final book in The Dark Tower series is terrific, but so long—hundreds of pages. Wow. I‘ve been reading The Dark Tower for such a long time in general.
LETTER N: Stephen King's books are connected in a long NARRATIVE. You find Pennywise the clown from IT also makes a cameo in Tommyknockers, The Man in Black who Rolland is chasing in The Dark Tower appears in The Stand, Salem's Lot, Children of the Corn & Dolores Claiborne and Gerlad's Game all happen during the same eclipse.
What are some that you remember?
I wish I could find this in larger print to really see it!
K is for Ka-tet, that group with bonds as strong as family. Roland‘s ka-tet consists of himself, Eddie, Susannah, Jake, and Oy. I can‘t wait to finish this series!
K is for Ka, much evident in The Dark Tower.
