Book 76🎧 2.5⭐️
I really wanted to like this one but it just didn‘t do it for me. It reminded me a lot of “The Game”…. And I preferred that one over this.
I thought The Game was too short, and this one too long! I just didn‘t feel the tension in this and it fell flat. Not enough razzle dazzle to keep my attention✨
But I heard good things about the show, so I‘ll give that a shot!🙃
A Grady Hendrix screenplay!🎥🩸
So you know it‘s wild😂
Shudder💀- for the horror aficionados👌🏻
Book 75🎧 4⭐️
Wiiiiiiild!!👏🏻👏🏻 Got some Lucy Foley vibes for sure.
That end section… did NOT see that coming at all😱 There‘s a lot of accusations getting thrown around so keep your notepad ready!😂 The lieeeeessss🫣💥🚗
+ I‘m a sucker for British narration 😂
Book 74🎧 3.5⭐️
This is Lois Lowrys first published book and you can tell she‘s always known how to write about the hard stuff❤️
Her writing definitely improved and became even more thought provoking⭐️ She has always been a master of her craft and this first introduction shows her amazing potential.
Meg & Molly are sisters, and like all sisters, they fight. But this summer is different, a summer that will never be forgotten.
Book 73🎧 2⭐️
Hmmm…Meh🤷🏼♀️ I always have high hopes for this author but overall this one falls flat… which seems to be a common occurrence for me.
I just don‘t connect with the characters, nothing truly locked me in to the story.
It could be due to it being an audiobook?
The ending was an improvement🙃
I will keep trying her books in hopes that one will shine!
Book 72🎧 4⭐️
Some beautiful Ojibway spiritual lessons❤️
Book 71🎧 3.5⭐️
Super cute! Individuals write in to get worldly advice from Baba Yaga!❤️

Current 2022 Stats👌🏼
Book 70🎧 4.5⭐️
Loved this one! The main character is so wild yet so relatable😂
And there‘s a murder!?
Dark, comedic, insightful🖤
What happens when we die? Gilda is a lesbian who works as a secretary for Catholic Church and can‘t stop thinking about death!
Book 69📚 4.5⭐️
I will admit I‘m not a big hockey fan - (bad Canadian!😂)
It took me a little to get through this book but it was so impactful. Blackman deals with such a difficult subject gracefully. He is a master of character progression.
I am interested to see where the next 2 in this series will go.
Book 68🎧 4⭐️
What an amazing and detailed story! It was a little slow paced for me but the story is beautiful and I enjoyed it being from the fathers point of view. A little spooky, a little wild, a little heartbreaking.👏🏻🧶
Book 67📚 5⭐️
I want to own all of these🥹🥲 They are so cute and totally remind me of my own nonna❤️🇮🇹
Book 66🎧 4⭐️
Ooo this one kept me on the edge of my seat! Cult craziness!
Piper was raised in a cult, she just didn‘t know it🫣😱
Litsy friends!!! What is your GoodReads handle?😊💕
EEKK!!🥹
I have had my eye on Slewfoot for QUITE some time let me tell ya!😂 And I didn‘t even know there were additional photos included😍
Also didn‘t realize TMSC was by Moldavsky when I ordered it - even more excited to read it after Kill The Boy Band👏🏻
& Shutter is giving me super creepy vibes👌🏼
Book 65🎧 5⭐️
Just wow.
There is so much to this story. It is heartbreakingly beautiful. I was on the verge of tears a few times.
A powerful look at mental health and friendship.
Just read it❤️🩹
*Ive been emotionally crippled by this book😂
Book 64🎧 2.5⭐️
Creepy haunted house story! The book is YA but the characters read more like MG (to me anyways!). Besides the topics/type of spook, the characters seemed much younger and I couldn‘t really get into it? 🤷🏼♀️ I think I was missing something.
Possession, murder, super catholic father….demon babies? It‘s got it all 😂
I love when books have 80s references💕 Especially Bill & Ted references!
“Winters…. Alex Winters… isn‘t that the actor from Bill & Ted? Not Keanu but the other one?”
Little nuggets of 80s cinema bliss💕
Kill The Boy Band also had a lot of 80s references - somehow the books I listen to back2back always have little bits in common!😂
Book 63🎧 3.5⭐️
As a lover of “boy bands” (Busted💕 to be specific😂) I was instantly drawn to this title! An enjoyable YA mystery!
4 friends are obsessed with The Rupert‘s and in true fan craze fashion, go a bit too far😬☠️
Book 62🎧 2⭐️
Hmmm… this one was a bit of a let down. Based on the name, I was expecting a good asylum haunt but that wasn‘t really what I got.
There is murder and mystery… just a bit lack-lustre 🤷🏼♀️
For RBC pick, I wanted more.
😫😒🤢🤮🤒😷 - no happy! This sickness is really putting a dampening on my reading goals☹️
I‘m talking crush your soul sad🥺😂
My head feels like a bag of sloshy water and cotton balls today😒
Here‘s to sitting in the darkness all day!🧛🏻♀️
Book 61🎧 4⭐️
This one definitely lives up to its hype!😂I can‘t wait to read the second one!🤯
So mysterious😱
Book 60🎧 3⭐️
Quick listen (3hrs) from Mira Grant - very thought provoking given the current world🦠
Morris disease has taken over and Dr Izzy has been trying to contain it since Patient 0. How far will she go to protect those around her?
Book 59🎧 3.5⭐️
A locked room mystery! Everyone has a secret and someone‘s a murderer…
6 scholarships winners are invited to a dinner. Except when they arrive, they realize they cannot escape. Who invited them and why? 💉🩸
Can the truth set you free?
Book 58🎧 3⭐️
Agree with other posts on this one - total HP vibes - JKR must have read this one at some point!
More MG than HP is but still a fun, magical adventure!
Book 57📚 4.5⭐️
Really enjoyed this one! I‘m a little sad it wasn‘t longer - but it had a great pace!
Every year, the high school kids of Lincoln play a game…Assassins. Lia has been gathering information all year to win. But this year, the game gets taken a bit more literal. Is someone killing players in alphabetical order? And why?🤫
Book 56📚 4⭐️
Beautiful💕 A Medium shares her experience with the Other Side and their signs of communication💕
Book 55🎧 2⭐️
Meh. More MG than YA - didn‘t have enough razzle dazzle (spook) for me. Might listen to the rest of the series, might not🤷🏼♀️
Book 54🎧 3.5⭐️ Wicca by Sybil Wolfe
Book wasn‘t available on any of the platforms so I had to fudge it a little haha! Great quick guide to that Wiccan life for Witches just starting out👌🏼
Lost my pace there for a bit!! Had to add some shorter books in! (2-5hrs long)😂
Book 53🎧 5⭐️
This is such a beautiful story😭 Outside of my typical genres but was so so good💕 I felt a whole range of emotions through this read… and I was on the edge of my seat at the end, teeth clenched on what the outcome would be! Kya is such an amazing soul💕
Happy to have read this before watching the movie! Can‘t wait to see it though!📽
A smorgasbord of amazing information👏🏻💕
I love learning about Megaladon😂 What‘s your “non-mainstream” interest? 😊
Book 52🎧 3⭐️
An enjoyable YA thriller. A few good twists I didn‘t see coming!
What lengths would you go to, to keep your scholarship? Drugs? Murder? 🏃🏼♀️
Book 51🎧 3⭐️
I think I liked the first one more🧐 But still a cute MG witchy story!
⚡️⚡️⚡️
50 books down! 150 to go!
25% of my yearly goal👏🏻
14,700 pages*
I think I have a type😂 Do I have any literary twins out there?!
Book 50🎧 3.5⭐️
This book dives into the possibility of other worlds with different measure and ideas of “time”🕰
Different speeds, directions, with gaps, with no future?
Very cool but I wish there was a bit more expansion!
I also love Switzerland so it was nice hearing about places I visited since Einstein lived in Bern!🐻 Saw it with my own 👀 😂
Quick listen 2.5hrs
Book 49🎧 3⭐️
Definitely a creepy listen! But it was short (only 2.5hrs) and I wanted a bit more, some more backstory and history.
A house built with bones instead of wood? A wedding elopement? This can‘t end well…😬🦴🪵
What is this😂😂⚡️⚡️⚡️
Book 48🎧 5⭐️
Another amazing book by Awad! Includes an ode to Bunny too🐰💕
This was so good! I love the “is/about” Shakespeare stories (10 things I hate about you/The taming of the shrew) and this was a fantastic version of Alls well that ends well!
With Awads classic dark humour and satirical writing, you really feel what it‘s like to live as someone with chronic pain, see how they are treated. I appreciated her showing this raw side of pain.
Book 47🎧 3.5⭐️
I wished this one had a little more depth, but over all I enjoyed it!
A virus from Earth has come back and has taken out the entire fleet on this starship. All that is left are the children, supposably immune. When they also slowly start dying, they must take control and try to survive while they figure out if it has mutated… or if there is a murderer among them.
Book 46🎧 5⭐️
SNAP! This was a goodie! Definitely a #LitsyMadeMeDoIt⚡️
I thought I had it figured out but as usual there‘s always a final twist 😂
Chloe‘s dad has a darkness… and is later arrested for 6 murders. 20 years later, girls start to go missing again and this time Chloe, Dr Chloe, can‘t help but believe they are connected.
😂😂 I am diligently trying to get through my physical TBR pile, I swear!🤫
Book 45🎧 3.5⭐️
This audiobook reads like “We have always lived in the castle” but it is FAR more twisted!😶😦 I did not expect that twist at all - what a flip!
M‘s brother keeps his “visitors” in the cellar of their shared family home. When he falls ill, M must descent into the cellar for the first time and what she finds is horrifying. Now she has to make a decision.
Book 44🎧 3.5⭐️
This was a long listen (for a typical thriller), 13hrs! But it‘s filled with twists and turns, extortion and lies. Some very cringe moments, untypical of a “lady thriller” 😬
Amy‘s life is turned upside down when Rue, a new woman, moves into her neighborhood and steps in on her lady group. It‘s only a game right?
😂 so much static!⚡️⚡️
He‘s perfect🥰❤️
Book 43🎧 3.5⭐️
A mystical YA/MG book about a young witch, Arianwyn, coming into her own power. Her first witching test didn‘t go as planned but that won‘t stop her!
Ever since she was little she has seen a strange glyph… one not taught by her elders. What could it mean?
