Hey everyone! Sorry I took a long hiatus from litsy but I'm back now! 2 things happened:
1. I have viral fever😔
2. Didn't have time to read any new books 😔
I wanted to restart my profile with this beautiful girl in the picture. The 5th wave (movie) is good. The plot is interesting, but the story turns a bit bland during the middle. The starting and ending is good. Cant wait to read the books
Feels good to be back!

Callemarie How wild... I woke up at about 1 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep and while I was laying in bed I kept thinking "I should re-read the 5th wave series"... maybe this is a sign haha-- but in all seriousness-- the first book a bajillion times better then the movie (i did enjoy the movie though) so def read it if you haven't yet 3y
thebookishnerd @Callemarie might be lol! I will definitely read it! 3y

Bailedbailed

I'm sorry I can't!!
I had such high expectations for this book. But except for useless and lengthy descriptions, this book had nothing. I'll finish it some other time when I have more patience, but for now, I'm bailing on this one. How can someone ruin such a good plot is beyond me. I'm seriously disappointed. I'll just read the summary on the net. Atleast it will be shorter than this Bible.

Day 20 of my #20Days20Serie #Top20Series

My dad told me about this amazing series. The girl with the dragon tattoo is a thriller with action packed sequences ❤️. The movies are great, want to read the books now...

thebookishnerd @SamAnne oh cool! How's the first one? 4y
Andrew65 I own the first one but not read it yet. 4y
SamAnne @thebookishnerd I‘m not a regular reader in the fantasy genre. But this past year I‘ve been expanding my reading, and esp. with Sci-Fi, fantasy and soon some crime/horror written by Black and Indigenous writers. I loved The Fifth Season and now plan to read all of N.K. Jemisin. I really can‘t wait to read her new one The City We Became. 4y

Day 15 of my #20Days20Series -
Y'all seriously thought that this epic classic wasn't going to be there?! The reason why I read Nancy drew was because of its female lead. But as I progressed, I realised it was so much more than that❤️

P.s- I have now officially finished every series that I have read. The remaining 5 days I will post my TBR series.

Mehso-so

Honestly, I am more than a bit disappointed by this book. The first half was boring, the primary focus being Chaol's paralysis. The second half was good, but the action wasn't as good as it's predecessor. There were also some fairly good reveals. But even though as the book was more than 600 pages, I still felt that Chaol and Yrene's relationship was rushed a lot. Overall, the book was okayish.

This book took my breath away. The fights, the characters, everything was just breathtaking. Except for the "R-rated" scenes. They were cringing as hell. Sarah literally used the word "velvet-wrapped steel". But aside from that, the plot has improved considerably, and the ending is mind-blowing. Can't wait to read the last one!

Day 7 of my #20Series20Days - Divergent has my conflicted opinion. The first one was amazing, second one was very good, and the third was good. As the series progresses, Tris and Four both become better, but the plot loses its intensity. The last movie was a total fail! God, it actually didn't have a plot! The first two movies were great✌️

I read this a while back, and thought I'd review it now.
This book has exceeded its expectations. I honestly thought Collins would try to justify our dear Coriolanus Snow actions is the future, but what I saw was a 18-year old boys struggling to uphold his family's pride. And to repair that pride, he does things that show us that he was truly cruel and twisted in many ways. I honestly loved it. The character of Lucy Gray was Amazing.

The third book in the throne of glass series, it delivered what was expected of it. This story revolves around four lives; Celeana's, Chaol's, Dorian's and an Ironteeth witch. The story has it's ups and downs, but honestly, I absolutely loved it! Sadly, I have to read the rest as e-books because my pocket money ran out and I won't be able to buy the other 4 until next month. But I am too curious to wait!! In short, this book is amazing ❤️
