My little shelf of lovely reads that I am stretching out and savoring over the course of this year. #YearLongRead
Added some lights to my bookcase for some holiday cheer. I may keep it like this year-round? Maybe add even more?!? #outofcontrol #shelfie
I‘m not at home with my own shelves—I‘m at my parents‘ house. So for today‘s #LittensDressedInBlood prompt, here are my shelves in my childhood bedroom, holding all the books I haven‘t made space for yet in the house I own 😆
A random #shelfie @Lizpixie @BookishMarginalia .. loads of shelves & a fully loaded kindle , and today was a disaster reading day ... because I had nothing to read ... couldn‘t settle into anything! Tomorrow is another day 😁🤞🏻
@Texreader I got both water bottles cleaned out and got the lights into the one. I think I may need another set of Christmas lights for the other one. It‘s really cool.
Apparently yesterday was National Library Shelfie Day. So here's a #shelfie in celebration 🎉 I spent last weekend reorganizing and decorating my bookshelves (although this is only one shelf of many in our house) 📚
My boyfriend thinks it's silly that I put picture frames and knick-knacks in front of the books, but I can't let all that extra space go to waste! Plus I have way too many pictures and not many other places to display them 😂
Bedroom shelfie. Sometimes I get sad when I look at my shelves and realize there are so many books that I want to read RIGHT THIS SECOND. 😂 But overall, having a good chunk of my books steps from my bed brings me so much joy!
I had my last day at my job today, and I‘m happy and relieved, but also a bit sad. I‘m sad to say goodbye to my patients and colleagues, but I‘m happy to try something new, and a (hopefully) healthier working enviroment from January 🤞
Now I‘m beyond ready for some time off to celebrate Christmas, read, relax, and doing stuff around the apartment 🙌
And a little #shelfie, just because 😄
A little #shelfie on a grey and wet Wednesday here in Denmark. We are starting to lockdown a bit again, so I‘m trying to find little bright spots, and this is one of them.
I haven‘t figured out exactly how my bookshelves should be organized yet, but these three shelves are pretty close to how I want them.
Ended up in being taken to Emergency today, as I had a major flare up of my chronic illness. Home again now with some medication that hopefully will help with preventative measures.
We also had announced today we are commencing a 6 day lockdown.
It's all happening today, but glad to be home.
Here is a shelfie of some of my books. Anyone feel like taking a shelfies, please tag me as shelfies always cheer me up.
Super busy this week and not a lot of time on Litsy!! My husband has been off work all week & we have been working on the first stage of our final huge renovation in our house. Stage one involved tearing down and then rebuilding a wall, and now it has a bookshelf!! Between this and the shelves already in this room, all the nonfiction is now in one place, organized Dewey Decimal style! 😂
My #Two4Tuesday contribution!
1. I have no idea how many books I have but I have them in nearly every room. I have a goal of cataloging them someday.
2. I have three of these big cases, the wood one in my room, a library cart, plus some others in stacks.
You know you really live somewhere when you have book shelves. This is also my ENTIRE print book library. When we moved to Dallas, I had about 100 books. At the height of my personal library, I had a good 1000. This is all that‘s left. (my ebook library is huge though) I am absolutely petrified to rebuild my personal library. I‘m not sure I‘ll ever have a proper print library ever again. Still, I‘m happy to have proper bookshelves again. #shelfie
I FINALLY got some shelves put up for my books! I am so excited to have these nice shelves to display these beauties. I was desperately in need of some new shelves since my bookshelves are very old and were showing their age (and they didnt age well). I'll probably rearrange them a million times but for now, I'm quite happy with this arrangement. Kind of feels like a library since I need a step ladder to reach the top shelves.
#Shelfie part 5 of 5. The last cabinet is full! And I still have 2 other shelves not pictured. I don‘t think I‘ll run out of reading material for a couple of decades, not that that will stop me from buying more books! 😆Although I am trying to do better. 😬
🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓
#Shelfie - part 3 of 5. Part of my #SweetValley collection. My #HarryPotter shelf is on the bottom.
🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓📚🤓
We moved almost 2 months ago (day before quarantine started, great timing! 🙄), and naturally my first order of business was getting my bookshelves in order. Priorities you know! Here‘s a #shelfie — part 1 of 5! This is my favorite part of the house. I finally have a cozy book nook!

1. What do you read for pure escape? Great thrillers, and detective books.
2. Favourite Comfort Food These Days. Apples, oranges, nuts, banana chips (had to banish chocolate and cakes)
3. Share a Selfie. One of 6 double stacked shelves throughout the house. Had to put in alphabetical order to be able to find books. Oh and a few piles too. 😂 95% unread, as not space to keep books, apart from special ones.
And another bookshelf shelfie for #worldbookday
It‘s #worldbookday here today, so here‘s one of my bookshelves
Ta Da! The finished (for now...) Library. I‘m going to end up getting a loveseat instead of or in addition to the chair, so the dog and cats can sit in here with me.
I definitely have room to grow into! There is one more wide shelf coming Thursday, one got damaged during delivery.
I‘m in heaven! I‘m so thrilled with how it has come out.
In progress shot of my new shelves 😃
I‘ve gotten in around 4 hours for #MrBook1inaMillion #LitsyPartyofOne. Audio: What If It‘s Us, Print: Plainsong. I hope I‘ll have more time to read tomorrow. 💜📚 Cheering on all the readers out there tonight!
I stayed you late getting this a little more organized. Unfortunately I had to take everything down and move all the shelves over to get the one on the end to fit.
And I had plenty of help from Luna 😺
Private question: pure Neugier: Wo in den Schweizer Alpen bist Du denn ungefähr? If that's not too private to share here - I could understand that... Ich habe die Ferien oft im Gebiet Hasliberg verbracht - meine Großmutter hatte dort eine Ferienwohnung... ⛰️🏘️ (edited) 1mo
