Leniverse I'm half way now and I'm not sure if I agree that the flaws of the characters aren't a focus. She's making some extremely questionable decisions in practically every chapter 🤪 And her husband is definitely flawed. 3d

I believe I have a new addiction.
As soon as I realised there were Graphic Novels, I just had to get them.

This is a prequel of sorts showing Elias and Hel as Fivers. And yes it was just as ingenious and innovative as the two books I've already read.
I'm not crazy about the artwork, but that won't deter me from getting the other GN that's available.

A Visit from the Goon Squad | Jennifer Egan

This was my first pick for July‘s #TitlesandTunes book. In trying to decide which song to pair with it I ended up going down a punk rock rabbit hole. I almost changed it to Fallopian Rhapsody about the Lunachicks, a new to me band, who I‘ve been listening to today. My song choice is a favorite released the same year of the book. Just love everything about #T&T and can‘t wait for the playlist. You all have EXCELLENT taste.

If it‘s such a problem that she doesn‘t know nothing about her mother, why doesn‘t she go and ask one of the numerous surfers 🏄🏽 that she “visits” at the beach and who seemingly all know her. There must al#t least be some that knew her mother❓🤔
