I had three leftover geraniums from a plant haul at Costco and I had an inspiration just before I fell asleep. Finished this audio book up puttering around - some laundry, some planting, some dishes. Now I‘m at loose ends 😆 EH is always a lovely read. This one is about the importance of friendships at different stages of our lives and how different people can fill that role

My nails look really good with this book 😂 truthfully I don‘t know what to say about this #camplitsy read. The first half felt like MC left most of her thoughts/words unsaid thereby creating tension/drama. The second half was an alternate universe what if? where she read drama into every scene in her real life. Maybe I‘m not as smart as I think? It was compelling to read- I inhaled it

I inhaled this on audio! I wasn‘t expecting to get it so fast for June‘s #literarycrew but here we are. I loved it. Please note I am a total grudge holder just like Hazel! It‘s a ♋️ 🦀thing. Also my vendetta against rabbits continues. I planted 2 cucumbers in my garden instead of my raised beds and I thought one had succumbed to cooler than usual temps BUT NO, it‘s the goddamn rabbits. This was was so healthy and alive this morning 🤬🤬🤬

Children‘s hospital fundraiser with my sister last night

It‘s not often I find a dedication with my name. I‘m pretty sure V.E. wasn‘t talking about grudges here 🤣 ( which I‘m very good at 😣) and now that I‘m well into the story I get it, and I‘m so glad I kept going ( the 100 page rule of perseverance doesn‘t often let me down)

I‘ve kept going ( around page 150 now) and @Booksblanketsandahotbeverage you are right about the Henry parts ( I also like that Addie is finding her groove in both timelines and doesn‘t feel so desperate) I am intrigued by him and why he hasn‘t forgotten her

Despite having a house to clean and an unending to do list in the garden, I just want to build Lego a bit so I started Sunflowers to take a break from cleaning and gardening and not from this book for #literarycrew

It‘s nice to read about women your own age being fierce and giving no fucks

This has been on my TBR for ages and it‘s also one of my irl book club picks but I‘m struggling - after 1000 Doors of January and A Short Walk Through a Wide World it just feels flat or more of the same ( I‘m only about 50 pages in so maybe it gets better - always try to do 100 pages just in case )

This was a quick, sweet and easy read - I‘ve always loved Tiffany & Co and I enjoyed this insiders peek at working there

How did we live without audiobooks ?! This book features 4 60 year olds who are retired from being assassins and while on a cruise treated like doddering old fools while I, a 60 year old, shovelled all this dirt 🤬

A long weekend spent maniac gardening to this fantastic audio book! All the plants are planted and of course I want more but the dirt and mulch awaits me as I continue my sweep around the yard weeding and topping up all the beds. The rain comes tomorrow so I‘ve got to hustle

Weather has been so great I‘ve been reading in the ‘tub‘ not just swimming 🏊🏻‍♀️ after school we drove Beckett ( youngest son) to catch GO train in another town so he could go to Toronto to visit girlfriend & I could go to 4. Ikea for new lounger 5. Take out for dinner 🎉

I saw a random post by Mayim Bialik about her top 5 books and since this is the kind of thing I love on audio I looked it up at the library
MK is a fantastic writer - he is witty and clever and raw and so funny. He lived a lifetime before he could legally drive and somehow came out the other side alive and well.
