Absolutely Amazing!

MacLeod Andrews' narration elevated this story from excellent to extraordinary.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is among my all-time favorite films, so when I discovered this audiobook, I knew I had to give it a shot.
I'm thrilled that I did; this is undoubtedly the best audio experience I've had this year.
Merging my beloved movie with MacLeod's enchanting storytelling has secured this book a spot on my top reads of 2025.

Enchanted_Bibliophile And I will certainly be revisiting it every year.

Well, this was…. different. I enjoyed the first half. After that, not so much. Almost every character got on my nerves, some parts of the plot were totally predictable, some made me angry, and some were just plain strange. And the ending… what the heck?! Can‘t wait for our #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead discussion. I‘m sure it will be lively. @BarbaraJean

But for some reason I never knew she wrote a memoir; How?

This was just brilliant.
Her quirky, geeky self is exactly what I expected and I got so much more.
She's brutally honest about her own struggles, and gives a fun filled overview of how she became the beloved woman who inspired so many of us gamer girls.
