Overall, a pick for me but definitely not my favorite Unger book. The pacing was up and down for me but ultimately had enough twist to keep me interested.

2. My daughter asked me to read the series with her this month. She started college early (this is her first semester) and wanted a Mom/Sami buddy read event. It has been amazing 💙💜💙

Not anymore. I used to finish everything I started reading. Then I accepted it‘s ok to stop if a book just isn‘t right for me. There are too many great books out there for me to waste time on one not resonating with me. Sometimes I hibernate them for later & sometimes it‘s just a bail.

While I enjoyed this latest in the Truly Devious series, it wasn‘t my favorite. Stevie & her Ellingham Academy friends travel to London where her boyfriend attends school. Stevie‘s reputation precedes her and she‘s asked to solve a cold case.

I read two Erdrich books this month for #AuthorAMonth & attempted a third. I‘m glad I tried an author I haven‘t read before. Overall, they weren‘t really for me.

I like to deal with things quickly & head on, so things I can‘t control (but affect my family, friends or me) stress me. Reading, crocheting & talking with my husband calms me.

Book 7 in the KOTLC series finished. Loving the series & the characters. Now that my daughter is at college, I might have to read the last three alone while she gets into a rhythm. I won‘t mind rereading them when she‘s ready.
