Almost forgot my check in. I had a pretty bad week for #BFCr2 in the way of health/fitness, but pretty good with reading. Keeping the same goals cause they're manageable, I only messed up cause we had a lot going on and I wasn't managing my time very well. A new week, and I signed up for round 3 because I'm not giving up! #FitWizards

Day 28 of #bfcr2, Today I got in a lot of books!!! I finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone and then started and finished The Good Rat and Fairest of All. I also started another book. My tracker logged 5,208 steps and I also cleaned for 4 hours, adding 18,720 to my total making it....23,928 steps for today.

After SEVEN HOURS of driving to the Omaha Zoo, I managed 17,800+ steps today!

here‘s how my week went...
Steps: 4/7
Books: well over my goal of 15 for the six weeks (BBRC)
Water: hit my goal every day
Tracking food: can‘t seem to get it done
Sleep: 4/7

While on vacation, some days will be lots of driving, some lots of walking. Not sure how to set that goal.

Day 27 of #bfcr2 Today it was another hot day, so it was an inside day! I finished Conquered by a Highlander and started and almost finished Daughter of Smoke and Bone (loving this book and want to read the rest of the series)!

Day 25 of #bfcr2 Today I listened to Conquered By A Highlander as I colored on my coloring app and played Candy Crush (serious competition with a couple daycare kids to see who can beat the most levels before summer is over). Plus it was a very rainy day, so it was an indoor kind of a day.

Day 23 of #bfcr2 I got 3,513 steps today, I figure since I got so many yesterday it is okay I got a bit less today. I am still working on A Court of Thorns and Roses, I am loving this book so much I find myself slowing down to make it last longer. Anyone else do that? I am also working up the courage to do the selfie challenge this week, I beyond dislike pictures of myself, so it is hard for me to do selfies.

Day 22 of #bfcr2 My tracker logged 4,360 steps, however I cleaned for 5 hours today adding 23,400 more steps (usually I only log part of my cleaning time to make it seem more accurate, but today I am going to claim every single on one those steps!), for a grand total of 27,760 steps for today. I listened to Conquered by a Highlander off and on, while working.

My wrap-up for week 3 of #bookfitnesschallenge 🙌🏻

It was a good week... I managed to scrape myself out of bed at 5:30 am on 6/7 days so that I could get my #audiowalk done before it was too hot and humid.

I‘m raising my book goal to 30 for the challenge—it was 20 books total, but I‘ve already finished 16.

Also, adding some more goals for week 4:

- NO diet pop (this is going to be hard)
- no more than 2 meals out: fix my own food more

Day 21 of #bfcr2 I got 2,142 steps today, I was really into A Court of Thorns and Roses & planning out books for a book challenge.
For motivational book, I would like to submit He‘s Just Not That Into You, this book helped me a lot in college to realize that nothing was wrong with me if “he” didn‘t like me that way. That I was still awesome & that maybe someday there would be someone that was into me.

As predicted, I didn‘t hit my step count while on my beach vacay. But our 3 level beach house had us all doing lots of stairs every day. I did get some beach walks in and I finished one book and started one audiobook (will finish on the drive home tomorrow). I‘m sad vacay is over and it‘s back to work, but it was fun.

I finished 6 books this week! I‘ve posted about most of these books already, except for The Milk Lady of Bangalore which I read for #nonfiction2019 to fulfill the prompt Something with Animals
I met my goal of 4 Jazzercise classes and 40 km walking. Inspired by the #booknerdherd chat, I also added weeding to my activities this week!

Day 18 of #bfcr2 Today I got 4,248 steps, cleaned adding 4,680 more. Grand total 8,928 steps today! I listened to more of Heartless, I have mixed feelings about it, not sure if I like it or not. I also did something that I try not to do a lot, I got on a scale & found that since the beginning of the first round, I have lost 5 pounds! While part of me wishes it was more, I am very happy that I am making progress!

Day 17 of #bfcr2, Today my tracker got 3,354 steps, I cleaned today adding 4,680 steps for a grand total of 8,034 steps. I finished Tamed By a Highlander, then I started & finished The Young Elites, & tonight I started Heartless. So I had an awesome book day! I am going to admit I had some negative thoughts today & was struggling a little, I had to give myself some reminders about trying to be more positive.

I know I'm a day or 2 late but here is my weekly process for #BFC #bookfitnesschallenge. Tried hiking Mt evans and since there's little to no cell reception all I have proof is pics. Books read since challenge = 1. Sixth day at work so I say it's been a busy week.

Day 15 of #bfcr2 Today I only got 2,084 steps, but I did listen to a whole audiobook and start another, loving this series, and colored a lot of pictures on my coloring app! I realized later that I probably could have done that while working out on the stationary bike, but the couch was comfortable, my dog wanted to cuddle, and I just wanted a do nothing day.

Day 14 of #bftr2 Today my tracker said 5,061, however I also swept (1,515 steps) and vacuumed (1,305 steps) for a total of 7,881 steps for the day!!! I also finished Catch Me If You Can and started Seduced by a Highlander.

Here‘s to accountability! This week wasn‘t the best: schedules didn‘t quite work, a holiday, time off, being hit w/ a migraine, & just one of those blah weeks. One thing about being healthy & happy is acknowledging some weeks just aren‘t going to be met w/ your A game. I did do well w/ food & water & was active every day. Weekly check-in for #BFCr2. This week did not go as planned. Our whole family was sick, so I couldn't focus on fitness much this week. I made up for it, though. I worked for 5 hours last night, running back and forth in a food truck, in 90° heat, at a fireworks festival. Day 13 of #bfcr2 I got 4,450 steps today. I spent my morning and early afternoon listening to Catch Me If You Can, I am almost finished with it!!! And then I spent my night seeing The Man, The Legend, BILLY IDOL!!! My little heart is so happy!!! I was hoping to get more steps in at the concert, but I was too busy watching the greatest!!!

Day 12 of #bfcr2 I decided to have another rest day so I will have energy for tomorrow!!!! I got 2,294 steps today which while not great, it is better than no steps or only a few steps, right? I started listening to this audiobook today and I am liking it so far. I also, may have fallen down the YouTube video black hole!!! Hopefully I am even better tomorrow and I will totally get steps tomorrow night!!!

One of my favourite healthy snacks/lunch meals. I don‘t have a recipe because I just put whatever I have on hand into my nori salad rolls, but the cucumber, cream cheese, and fresh dill roll is my favourite. 😍

Slice those cucs! Cut some strips of low fat cream cheese, and throw in some fresh dill. Place on a nori sheet, and roll to the nori is on the outside. Spread a little water on the end of the nori to get it to stick to itself. Nom nom!

Day 11 of #bfcr2 So...I woke up this morning with a sore throat, stuffy nose and a sinus headache! I have big plans on Friday, and I want to get better before then🤞🏻, so I spent my day on the couch with my dog, drinking lots of water, taking NyQuil, watching YouTube videos and napping. So I am going to pat myself on the back for getting over 3,000 steps!!

Day 9 of #bfcr2 Today my tracker said 4,355, plus I cleaned for 30 minutes and added 2,340 more steps to make 6,695 for the day!!! Plus during my cleaning I found 6 more books, 🤦🏻‍♀️! Not sure which ones I am going to read yet, so I just put them with my other stack of books.

Day 8 of #bfcr2 I got in 4,575 steps according to my tracker, I vacuumed for about 10 minutes adding 870 steps to my total making it 5,445 steps for the day! That is pretty good considering I had a lot of family events today. I am also still planning out my books and I will get started on one tomorrow.

Started out the week super strong, my gym buddy had to cancel on Friday, so did three days of cardio and two days of weightlifting this week. The weekend ended up being a little more laid back than planned due to a heat wave (Mr. S and I stayed indoors and attempted to stay cool 😅) Overall I‘m happy with completing each of the goals above! Next week will be even better!

Well, I‘ve been struggling a lot with my bipolar this week, so my doctor and I have been upping my treatment. That‘s all I‘ll say for now. 🤯🤯

I‘ve met my step goals (7k). I‘ve done my PT 💪🏻💪🏻
My natural fruits and vegetables are doing well, but I still need to cut back on sugar. 🤭

I‘ve read 4/12 books!! I have a medical procedure coming up week 3 so I‘m not going to up my goal yet.

Day 6 of #bfcr2 Today my tracker recorded 7,095 steps, I cleaned for 3 hours adding 14,040 steps & I vacuumed adding another 1,305 steps for a grand total of 22,440 steps for the day! I am still taking votes for #makemereadit I am also including a picture of my cleaning buddy today, Elvis the Gnome, he is usually found by my books and makes me so happy every time I see him!
