I already have a tradition: the first book read in a year should be about #CormoranStrike ! The novel is very big, but it was easy for me to read it, perhaps because I really like the main characters! And the detective story is also good! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The book is amazing! One drawback - too many scientific terms. Do aliens exist? No one knows, someone believes in their presence in the Universe, someone refutes any existence of other intelligent life. What if people simply can't comprehend the existence of something else? What is mind and consciousness? Too many questions! The theory put forward in the book is interesting! Definitely worth reading this novel!
Thanks for the book, @Violetta 😘

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Finally, I read the fourth novel about #CormoranStrike ! The plot is incredibly cheerful and dynamic, even though almost half of the book is occupied by the inner experiences of the characters and their relationships with former, present and future partners. In general, this is a great pastime, without boredom and long reflections. It's perfectly readable and causes only positive emotions!

"When people are part of a mob, they stop being individuals, their inhibitions disappear, they don't follow their normal moral compass..."
This book raises interesting topics, such
as: the harm and benefits of modern technologies, the behavior of people in a crowd, the impact of social networks on people's lives. But most of all, it's a Thriller! The suspense of the story increases with each page! ??

What if you are a prisoner for life? What if you are offered to build a base for astronauts on #Mars? Will you accept the offer? And what if the people who came with you to Mars start dying one by one?
I liked the idea, but I would like more details about the technical aspects of life on Mars! But I will definitely read the sequel!

This is a continuation of #theextraordinaryadventuresoftheathenaclub . A good detective story that also features monsters, mysticism, and characters from typical English novels. The book has a lot of humor, funny comments-inserts of characters that dilute the narrative. The book is very voluminous, but easy to read and quickly addictive.

In the two years since I read the third part of this series, I've forgotten what it's like to read a book until late at night. And now I can't imagine how to say goodbye to this interesting story with a non-standard plot and an incomparable main character. This is an unusual book - it is a fairy tale, an adventure, an intrigue, a love story, a book about peace and justice. 👓🧤👥

There are 5 love stories in the book. But not all of them have a happy ending! The plot is so dynamic that I read the book in one gulp. ❤️

??? The world has long been a hot desert with ghost towns because of the global warming. "Cloud" is a place where you can get a job, housing and everything necessary for life. Sounds good, but what is the price? The story is told on behalf of three characters. There are a lot of things that are hidden between lines. Unfortunately, the main characters didn't seem interesting to me, so I rate the book only three stars(

BookMaven9 They were so bland and needed a backstory to care. I didn‘t feel I knew them 2mo

This is an amazing thriller! But the excitement of reading begins towards the end of the book. From the very beginning, the author gives the reader some hints that everything is not so clear! The most important thing that I liked was the unexpected ending of the book! 🏥🎨🖌️💔

I still have an uneasy feelings! 😟 The book is a good representation of human feelings, such as the fear and the desire to live at any cost. The political regime is so unrealistic, but at the same time so possible to be, that I'm getting scared of this!
I read the book because I am impressed by the series! I'm not disappointed with the book or the series. I even found it easier to read, because I already knew what it was about!

Cheshirecat913 Yes, it is one of those scenarios where I was like that couldn't really all happen....but then again just like it gradually started happening maybe it could. 4y
Curiouser_and_curiouser Actually, I read a foreword written by Atwood in which she says that every element of this story was taken from human history. So at some point in history elements of this dystopia have existed. She has brought various events in history together and created a new dystopia. It is shocking and scary but scarier still to know that these ways once, or still do, exist. 4y

I wanted to read this book as soon as the movie came out. The author well conveyed the atmosphere of the post-Apocalypse, as well as the attitude and reaction of people to what is happening! I read the book in two days, because it's small. So I didn't get tired of it and read it with pleasure. After reading it, I immediately watched the movie. The plot doesn't exactly match the book, but I liked it! I guess it's because I like Sandra Bullock! 🐦

Simplykellyk Watched the movie first because of all the hype. I liked it. It freaked me out. But I liked it. The book 💯 better than the movie. Totes could have been because I liked Sandra bullock too though. 🤷🏽‍♀️ 4y

This is not a mystery, not a thriller, this is a drama! The plot reveals to us the story of a naive woman with mental problems, with problems in communication!
But there is a plus-the book didn't leave me indifferent! After reading it, I was left with bitterness and pity for the main character! 🍊🍊🍊
