Here‘s how my January #bookspinbingo board ended up! Nowhere near any bingos, but some interesting clustering. On to February!

Here‘s all the books I read and DNF‘d in January. The other book I should have DNF‘d was Balcony Of Fog but I didn‘t. I had a feeling I wouldn‘t like it but I forced myself to finish it and I didn‘t like it that much. This is the first time I‘ve DNF‘d 3 books in a month. I like to finish every book I start. I don‘t like to bail on books. This year, I want to start bailing on books more often but only if I‘m not enjoying them.

In January I read 16 books and I really enjoyed 12 of them. With the exception of one book, the other three were also enjoyable. I think my month was productive taking in consideration that m I‘m a slow reader. I even finished one series🤗
I didn‘t read the January #DoubleSpin looking to read it this month. I made 2 bingo lines. I‘m satisfied with my reading accomplishments 😃

Pretty successful month & a great start to the year! I'll hardly be around for February. Hopefully, I can still get some reading time in.

A great start to the reading year in #January with 34 books Read and 11,602 pages.

According to storygraph this puts me 14 books ahead of my goal for the year and 2228 pages head of my reading gaol.

I‘m going to call my January #BookSpinBingo since I highly doubt I‘m going to finish any other books on the board before the end of the month. For my first time doing this, I‘m very happy with my progress even though I didn‘t manage a bingo or my #DoubleSpin. Onward to February!

I barely got any reading done this weekend because I‘ve been job hunting but I cleared most of my board for #JoyousJanuary. Hopefully I will finish these last two by the end of the week.

I met most of my goals for #JoyousJanuary - kept up with Wuthering Heights and Sense and Sensibility, read Pinocchio, finished Ain‘t I a Woman, read through book 20 of The Odyssey (4 left!). I fell behind on A Truth Universally Acknowledged and The 1619 Project, between last weekend‘s gig then a migraine then kiddo catching flu and now sharing it with me, which triggered a migraine. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Still, better progress than expected.

#JoyousJanuary update near the midpoint: I finished the hooks; have managed to stay current on WH and S&S, am up to book 18 in The Odyssey, and am not yet completely behind on the other two buddy reads.

Kiddo woke up feverish today, so we‘re waiting on the COVID results (rapid test was negative). May need to go back for a flu test tomorrow (nurse released us before the dr was done or it would have been done today). Long day.
