I didn‘t get any of my goals done. Cancer not only sucks because for the obvious reasons (hair loss), but because chemo treatments give you something called chemo fog. I did get a good portion of The Last Green Valley done though.

I finished one more book for October just under the wire! Interesting story that‘s a follow up to The River. Tension builds as the MC realizes that things aren‘t quite right at the mountain fishing/hunting lodge where he‘s working, then suddenly it goes full-on action movie!

Favorite this month was the Cassidy Blake trilogy, especially City of Ghosts.

My reads for September 💕 I can‘t believe I got 12 books in, but these were all so good! I celebrated Banned Books week right by reading 4 (technically 5) banned or challenged books, and I got to continue in some series I absolutely loved.

Kenyazero Looks like a good month! Of these, I've only read Strange the Dreamer, but it was such a fun read that I feel justified in feeling like your other books were probably fun too ;) (other than the one star 😆) (edited) 2mo
JillsBookshelf @Kenyazero I‘m so glad you think so! I hope your reading month was just as good 😄 2mo
Kenyazero @JillsBookshelf Thanks! It wasn't Strange the Dreamer good, but I still had a good time. 2mo

Did all the reading I could do for this month and thought while I have the time... To do my September #WrapUp

I'm a bit surprised at how much I accomplished, it didn't feel like I was reading much but my stats say differently.

Favourites:
💮 Sandman9: Kindly Ones
💮 My Lovely Wife
💮 Warbreaker

For October I'm aiming to read 5 books; all depending on my work load.

My reading went way down in September. In my defense, I spent MANY hours in knee treatment and recovery, and that‘s much better now.

Anyway, I did at least accomplish one of my 2021 reading goals by getting completely caught up with Louise Penny. I wasn‘t crazy about the latest. The post-pandemic timeline was confusing, and an extra character seemed a bit out of place. Still love Gamache though!
