I was intrigued by the premise of this one: What happens when the chosen one fails? It turns out his BFF tries to take up the cause and get the job done. I loved Aaslo the reluctant hero as he tries to amass the allies needed to save the world despite the prophecy proclaiming doom without the chosen one. It did end with a bit of a cliff hanger which wasn't too fun but I think this is still a series I'll continue with.

My January #doublespin! I've had this book on my shelf forever, and even though I've seen the movie, I was surprised how much I liked this book. I'll admit that I find the relationship between Michael and Hanna "icky"...yet I couldn't put this book down.

I finished my #DoubleSpin pick this month! I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. It was sort of a coming of age novel about a 36-year-old who should have already grown up. He sees everyone being adults around him, and it seems to make him angry, until he realizes how that could be just as important to him as his record collection and knowledge of music.

This series is interesting I just find the couple so ridiculous and annoying 😂 JLA has a style and I don‘t mind it but after reading so many in a row it begins to gnaw at you! Glad it‘s done! #bookspinbingo

Starting To Paradise and Oddball today in physical book format. Currently listening to Breezy St., and then The Plot, Intimacies, Just Mercy on deck 🎧

I finished 1 book of of my Jan. TBR list.
I should read The Proposal or Grey as they are my #bookspin and #doublespin books, but The Pinks is my Jan. #LMPBC book, so it will take priority.
I was really hoping for a low key weekend so I could finish more reading, but my parents showed up on Friday night and just left this morning. Now I have grading and lesson plans as well as #BibleBuddyRead to catch up on.

All these books were fun quick reads but Goodnight Darth Vader was especially adorable ❤️

It will probably take me most of this week to finish my reread of Salem‘s Lot on audio.
I just started Dangerous Women, my #bookspin , today and it seems to be a fast read. LCR is my #doublespin and is up next. I‘m not sure if I will get another audiobook started before the end of the week.
I‘m going to give The Lacuna a try for #authoramonth .

This was my first Austen. I enjoyed it and definitely laughed at some parts. Catherine is sweet, honest and innocent, if a bit clueless. Henry is funny and kind and the Thorpes are the worst.
