The third book in the trilogy and such a good read. I really enjoyed the characters and how they developed and were intertwined in each book and this was a great ending. Stephen King does another great one!
The final installment in the Bill Hodges trilogy and what an excellent way to finish, sad though 💔 Such a good story, King really has an interesting mind and I will definitely be continuing the Holly Gibney series as she is a great character 🙂

Another book i finished last week and i was genuinely sorry to finish this trilogy with characters in bill hodges and holly gibney who i could happily followed for several stories and with a truly memorable villain who returns from mr Mercedes to bring the fingers keepers gang back to investigate suicides related to bk 1. My only gripe however is my inability to deal with a plot device, however i buried my misgivings eventually to enjoy the rd.
Bill Hodges, we've done over a thousand pages together and I've enjoyed every sentence with you.

The end of the trilogy. I liked the story, but I‘ve read other reviews that say Uncle Stevie threw in the towel on crime drama on this one and returned to his roots, and I would have to agree. Everybody‘s favorite psycho, Brady Hartsfield, who seemed out for the count, is back with a vengeance, and with a few new tricks up his sleeve. Suddenly, he‘s acquired some interesting new powers that he plans to do all kinds of evil with. Recommended!
Holly and Jerome return in this 3rd book in the series. Holly still grates on me some (in the first book Holly did “grow on me”), but at other times, I found her amusing. I listened to the audio, and it‘s possible it‘s the way the narrator “plays” Holly that, at least plays a part in my irritation with her. Apparently, I didn‘t like this one quite as much as the first two but overall it was still good. A good conclusion to the series.
Ugh! I am so sad this trilogy is over. Awesome characters and great plot. Holly and Jerome just steal your heart. If you haven‘t read this trilogy I highly recommend it.
Spending my morning with an audiobook and wrapping holiday gifts for my Litten friends ❤️
This was such a wonderful end to the Finders Keepers trilogy (although Holly showed up in The Outsiders so I‘m hoping the characters will continue to pop up in other books). Full circle story with all the feels by the end. The narrator of the audiobook was exceptional as well! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I am so glad I decided to read the Mr. Mercedes trilogy. This third and final book was fantastic and brought everything around full circle. Now on to finally read The Outsider!
I finished reading this book last week, but couldn‘t write a review. It‘s a heart wrenching Stephen King book centered around The Suicide King, a madman with telekinetic powers who causes others to commit suicide. My neighbor tried to end his life in the garage about the time i finished reading
The book hit too close to my front door.

Even though I would have preferred a mystery slightly less supernatural in origin, I still had a hard time putting this book down.
You could maybe lock out an axe murderer but not anything supernatural, said Amy Robach in an interview with SK. But what if you merged the two? EoW does just that, spinning a high-tension tale of terror. But that's the glossy part. I can't begin to outline how rich it is in terms of substance & its thoughtful handling of the sensitive subject at its core. Lacing the final part of a trilogy that started out as pure crime fiction with fantasy ⬇️
This is how you end a series.
I was sucked in from the start and couldn‘t stop... absolutely consuming, and so very good. Stephen King is a master storyteller, and the Bill Hodges series is more evidence of that.
Excellent narration throughout the whole audio series: Will Patton has a different sound for each character, and all of them are wonderful.
Thank you again, @MissAimz_55 for putting this on your #freakyfriday list!
I think I liked the first two books better. I didn't really buy into the supernatural aspect which wasn't in the first two books and this book seemed too rushed. I'd have to say that it was just OK and nothing really to write home about!
OMG - what a fantastic end to the Bill Hodges trilogy. I can't tell you how satisfying it was to read this book and see Brady get his just desserts. BUT the story is a hard read in places, dealing as it does with suicide. I certainly don't want to make light of it but I do think Mr King was very gentle in his handling of a serious, very real issue.
A definite 5 stars but I'm so sad it's all over.

When you absolutely, positively get incredibly lucky and pull one of the few ‘signed copies‘ of End of Watch from a stack of 1,000+ books at a Stephen King event. This was from his End of Watch tour of a few select cities. 😛 I‘m a little late in the game to Litsy, so I‘m posting some of my older stuff... Thanks, Mr. King!!! #signedbook #stephenking #endofwatch #signededition #firstedition
1) Not a huge fan of the Olympics (winter or otherwise) but the snowboarders always get my respect.
2) Jodi Picoult, Joe Hill, Stephen King, Kate Morton

I used to love Stephen King‘s terrifying tales of things that could happen. Scary clowns, a plague, a psycho fan, but his more recent books are completely off the mark for me. So contrived, so unrealistic, I just couldn‘t wait for this to be over. Ridiculous voice for one of the audiobook characters made me dislike it even more. Really disappointed.
I haven't stayed up past my bed time to read a book in so long but I started the last section of this one and couldn't stop.
Definitely pick this trilogy up if you get the chance.
Fantastic end to King‘s ‘real crime‘ trilogy that began with MR MERCEDES, through FINDERS KEEPERS. Great characters, high tension and a plot that never slows down, this is top notch storytelling. My only complaint is this book, unlike the two predecessors, relies on the supernatural. But unlike many King novels, the ending is emotional yet earned. Highly recommended!
Last night was a terrible night for our community as one of our own state troopers was shot and killed by a man during a traffic stop. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. He had a beautiful wife and three kids who were waiting for him to come home for Thanksgiving dinner. Rest in Peace, Trooper Damon Allen.
