These girls seem like a good place to start.

Omfg. This book.
This is raw!
How do you review a diary?
I hope it will become a classic, it needs to be read by everyone.
What a smart, kind young girl

GingerAntics This is on my TBR/wish list. It sounds like this should be right up there with Night and Anne Frank. 4d
BookishRedhead @GingerAntics she is being labeled as "the Polish Anne Frank" it should stand next to Anne's 4d
GingerAntics I‘ve seen that. I definitely think they should be side by side. These two young women who wrote beautiful, first hand accounts of a horrific time in our collective history and only their diaries live to tell the tale. The thought that her boyfriend heard her being shot just breaks my heart. I really need to read this. 4d
BookishRedhead @GingerAntics definitely. The last few entries are devastating. I rarely cry at books but I lost it at the end. 4d
GingerAntics Thanks for the warning on that. I seriously think this needs to get moved up my list. 4d

I have an idea!
You know we have Percy's take on the Greek Myths and heroes?
I would love for a Magnus Chase (or Sam) on their take on the Norse stories.
It would be fun and informative.

I know the story of The Runaways is sad but somehow I keep coming back to the story.
Evelyn Mcdonald has made a masterpiece of a book.
Very well documented and nice pictures.
They only lasted 4 years but their legacy lives on and on

This really touched me, of course we all know what her husband did to her but when you read from her own hand it's just.... Wow.
The pictures are pretty and she writes from the soul.
