Ruthiella I wonder if Mrs. Jamison had actually even met her sister-in-law prior to this visit? I‘m sure Lady Glenmire was bored stiff with only Mrs. J (and Carlo!) for company at first. 12mo

mcctrish What a chapter?! #meangirlsofcranford first they don‘t know what to call Lady G, then they won‘t talk to her at all, then a fortnight passes and an invitation to brooch it up ( what bedazzling was before the bedazzler was invented ) with tea makes it everything okay. But the highlight was as @Bookwormjillk said, the unexpected cat poop lace #cranfordcrazies 12mo

Vansa This has to be one of the best pieces of writing I've read- the absolutely merciless send up of pretensions of class snobbery,its perfectly relevant even today.I died laughing at how indignant they are that Mr.Mulliner is reading the paper before they are!Oh,and the hilarious description of how the narrator is trying to take 2 lumps of sugar surreptitiously,and fails at the attempt! 12mo

This is the decade I started using Goodreads to track my reading, and Litsy talk to and meet more readers. My niece and nephew both graduated from HS, I chopped off my hair (now it‘s growing longer again), I added in some of the movies and TV shows I was obsessed with. If I take out politics and the larger societal surreal mess, it wasn‘t a bad decade.

My 2010‘s have been mostly about chasing my tail after these two yahoos, lots of trips to Disney and Chicago - two of our favorites, watching the Cubs finally win the World Series, running (and walking) many 5k, forging countless relationships on social media with like minded people who knit, run or read - people that I struggle to find IRL because...I‘m a happy introvert 😂

#MayBeNow #PartyTime | The 2010s were quite a whirlwind!

2010 - moved to Wisconsin 🧀
2012 - had our first son 🍼
2013 - moved to Utah ⛰
2014 - had our second son 🍼
2015 - moved to Tennessee 🪕 and made a permanent (I think) home

PS. I miss my super short hair.
